Has anyone here seen "Soul Eater NOT!"?

I've read the first volume of the manga and just found out that there's an anime adaptation. I'm thinking about watching it to hold me over until I can afford the next volume, but I want to find out how it compares to the manga first.

 

well there're only two episodes out right now (I've only seen the first) so it's up to you. But it was following the manga for the most part. They added a little about Tsugumi's life before she went to the DWMA at the start but that's about it. Worth a watch if you like the manga I guess.​

 

Read a couple of the chapters from its manga a while back, but I pretty much dropped i to the moe...too much moe...

basically this I stuck with it but it's eeeh it's dissapointing comparing it to the original plotline and to think this is supposed to be a sequel. eugh.

 

A sequel? What? it's just a spin-off of the main series that is before the main story takes place​

 

I meant prequel my bad e_e it's 2 am here gimme a break.

 

And that's actually the opposite of a sequel. It's called a prequel. And even that's not totally accurate since it doesn't really have much to do with the main series.

 

i dont know anything about the series but i actually really did like the style of soul eater, i saw a comparison between this and soul eater not and its......really disappointing to look at
