Has anyone ever rated a thread that wasn't made by them?

I know I have. but only once.

 

Yes, to cause chaos around the forum. I even pointed out that someone (which was me) was rating the treads.

 

I have, once or twice, back when I was new :D

Does it even have a purpose?

 

Most of the time I forget we can even do such a thing.
