I just want to start up a debate.

    About the Following:

1: Did the ending of Harry Potter live up to what you thought? Why or Why not?
2: Do you think the last two movies will live up to the rest now that all the HP Fans know how the series had ended? Why or Why not?
3: What are your views of Snape? (Mainly for readers who have finished the 7th book.)

If anyone has more questions to add to the debate, message me, and i will add them top this list.

    SPOILERS

I agree with what they said on Attack of the Show yesterday. I expected some epic final showdown (which, incidently, wasn't so epic), and then a huge ending for Harry, not him just marrying Ginny and dropping his kids off at Hogwarts and that being the end of it. I wanted some action-y claiif hanger that still sums up the story.

Or, I wanted some hardcore ending where Harry kills some Death Eaters and Voldy, then gets consumed by the feeling of killing others that he becomes the Dark Lord.

So, overall, no; The ending did not match up to my expectations, but I still enjoyed it.
No, I don't think so. Even though I've read the books over and over again, I still enjoy seeing the movies and seeing how much the way the Director's vision of what was going on in the book differed from mine.

I like seeing all my favorite moments and characters the way, once again, how others have seen them. For one thing, I didn't think Lupin (RIP ;.;)would look anything like he does in the movie, yet now when I read the books I see the Lupin from the movies.

And there's always the butt tards that just go see the movies and don't bother to read the books. :P

HE NEEDS A BETTER DEATH SCENE.

Seriously, what was that crap? First of all, Alan Rickman is an amazing actor and is perfect for the role of Snape, SO I WANT AN EPIC DEATH SCENE. Secondly, Snape showed that he was extremely brave and loyal to Dumbldore... More reasons for a better death scene. >.>

    I'd just like to say that all my favorite characters died off. ;.;

No. It was good, but not as exciting as I thought it would be. I mean, one spell to kill Voldy? That's it? Wtf was that for. Why not just jack the elder wand and run away, that would've been better XD. But the hallows were pretty decent. The love of Snape and Lily wasn't as surprising, since I've heard that theory a few times. But it still was great.

No. The movies never live up to the book. The book has more of the emotion, while the movie is cut and take IMO. Even though I enjoy them, they could be better.

Omg. Snape was awesome in this book. He is my favorite character of all HP right now just for the fact that he was some triple agent. And obsession with Lily Potter finally got me convinced that he loves Harry.

    1. No, it was crap that Voldemort's own spell killed him, Harry could have used guns and shot him dead anyway, Voldemort wouldn't have been expecting it and he was already Mortal anyway.

    2. No, the movies will never live up to the books, the books have much detail.

    3. He's awsome, I thought his was a disgusting repulsive git but I was wrong.
