    Yeah, they are not Metal. I know them well. Still have an album or two lying around. I would call them Nu Metal or Metalcore if I had to name them something.

    If genres are mentioned at all, and people are going to bother claiming them, then I prefer specifics and accuracy with them. I do not like them, but if they must be mentioned (in the form of, "I like metal", or, "I like everything but rap and country,") then I like for people for be as accurate as possible in their use of them. Metal and emotive hardcore get mixed up the most often, so I am a bit touchy about them specifically. Sorry.
