Kingdom Hearts II Hades Paradox Cup Tips????

Hi, Im having troubles with the hades cup (Unlike KH1.) But still I have much HP and Alot of MP. But I need Help, I Havent got passed the 20th stage. :( Today I finished the poster duty in 0:29:26.03 seconds and finished Twilight Town now all I need are a few synthysis notes and some tournaments in Olympus Colleseum. I beat all except the Hades Cup but didnt get a high enough score for some hades's cups like the titan hades cup, the cerberus hades cup, and i didnt even finish the Hades cup period. any tips for the hades cup? Please PM me not comment.

Tips for tackle Hades Cup

Recommendation for Preparation :
Use Ultima weapon for Sora, Save the King for Goofy and Save the Queen for Donald. Pick Comet, Knocksmash and Trinity for Limit. Pick double jump and glide for defense move. For magic shortcut, you can pick on your own (I use /\ for Thundaga, [] for Magnega, X for Curaga and O for Firaga)

There're 5 different rules in Paradox Hades Cup
Round 1-10 : No specific rules
Just kick their butt with all your power ^_^
Round 11-20 : Titan Cup Rules
Use Peter Pan for quick battle and also make your pass the challenge (obtain 15000 pts)
Round 21-30 : Pain and Panic Cup Rules
Use Comet for lesser battle and Knocksmash for boss battle. Trinity limit isn't bad but I didn't recommend it
Round 31-40 : Cerberus Cup Rules
Use Final form for "instant victory" ^_^
Round 41-50 : Sora in his own
I called this "Hit and Run" strategy. Use Thundaga for attack and use double jump and glide for run away (replenish your MP bar). You may attack with physical attack but be careful cuz one simple mistake can bring you to abyss of despair ^_^

Here's what I do for boss battle
R5 : Firaga Lord
Use Knocksmash and reaction command "firagun". If you plan to use drive, use final form
R10 : Tifa and Yuffie
Target Tifa then Yuffie. I myself use wisdom form to tackle these two. And also, using knocksmash isn't a bad idea either ^_^
R15 : Blizzaga Lord
Use "blizzagun" everytime he try to spit ice then slice him with all you've got. Rinse and repeat. If he summon ice pillar that surround you, use firaga to melt it (if you use it near blizzaga lord, he'll take damage too)
R20 : Pete
Use Guard everytime he throw his 'bowling ball'. It'll be reflected back to him. Rinse and repeat. Pretty simple ,eh? Even Pete didn't worthy enough to make you landed your keyblade ^_^ (for making it easier, you may use trinity limit)
R25 : Cloud and Tifa
Target Tifa first. Use Knocksmash to make it easier
R30 : Hades (normal)
Use Knocksmash
R40 : Cloud and Leon
Use either wisdom form or final form. I prefer using wisdom form for long-range battle (be careful if you turned into anti form). Target Leon first cuz his fireball is quite annoying. And also be careful with Cloud's Omnislash
R48 : Cerberus
I use my "Hit and Run" ^^
R49 : Cloud, Leon, Tifa and Yuffie
I use my "Hit and Run" for Tifa and Leon. For Cloud and Yuffie, replace thundaga with Trinity cuz Cloud and Yuffie 'invulnerable' with magic. I target Tifa, Leon, Cloud and Yuffie. Be extremely careful with Leon and Cloud. Cloud can use omnislash from the beginning and also Leon also charged his gunblade from the beginning
R50 : Hades (Berserk)
Use Hercules's Aura Sphere to 'calm down' Hades then attack him with your keyblade. Usin trinity limit if you want to ^^

A tip for the Leon Cloud Yuffie Tifa fight, but once you use up all your MP just glide around the arena in a huge circle until it comes back. You're usually never hit except by leon's fireball sometimes

 

tip for Cloud, Leon, Tifa, and Yuffie, try to kill Leon first, that way there is no fireball attack that can hit you, then go for Cloud, then Tifa, then Yuffie... thats what I did...

 

If you do that go for tifa after, she tends to get in the way a lot.

 

either way... Cloud keeps on using his quick attack on me, that caused me to die alot...

 

don't get near cloud from front Attack him from behind or from above. The best method for killing Cloud that I found is using Trinity> If you lucky, you also damage the other character

and cloud's omnislash will hit you too (especially if you don't prepare it before)

 

it wasn't hard except the last battle. what i did is i flew around waiting for the opportunity to strike. it worked like a charm but it took a long time.

 

Thanks everyone!!! i beat it but now i need to get 15,000 points to beat the jimminey journal challenge and then get a few synthysis items. my method for 11-20 is using final form genie, he does alot of damage and you can kill everyone with him without your drive running out. then with pete i used a technique to only attack after he guards and do trinity then a combo and run away until he guards again and i repeat. Thanks again to everyone who helped!!!!!

 

No problem.

But for 11-20 and even 40-50(I think) you can use Peter Pan to milk orbs out of the heartless. For Pete you can spam Trinity Limit but do it after the barrier disappears when he summons it. You don't have to wait, Pete can easily be beaten with the normal Button Mashing of KH2. Even Try out stuff like Thunder or Fire if needed. Try Genie in the Pete battle too.

Well, just lvl up more, I guess. Watch your opponents movements. : )

And when you come to Yuffie and Leon, take Leon out first!

 

want easier way beating pete? just use guard. Pete throw ball then you reflect it. Simple, eh?

 

Your right about leveling up,
it usually gives you a level right?

But, it's easier to take out Yuffie first since she moves around and has a better range of attacks,I avoid Leon, then take him out.

It's weird I didn't do any tournaments until I was lvl 90 something.
Then I went back to do all the mini games and tournaments.

 

Bingo, you're right. But the main problem is Hades paradox cup level = 99. So, if you're not at lvl 99 (recomended), they'll wipe the floor with you easily ^^
