HOW DO YOU GET BETTER CARDS HOLY SHiT. Every innkeep and the guy in Vizima is wrecking my deck. I don't know who I can even duel, and I don't plan to talk to EVERY NPC. Halp.
I had the same problem. Kept getting destroyed in Novigrad. The best cards are from innkeepers in the auests. Hero cards with 10 attack. Otherwise you can go around to the small villages in Velen and play merchants. Ask every person who sells stuff. Merchants that have a sack of gold for an icon can also sell cards.

It's not that bad, go the castle place and beat that one guy to get his amazing Northern Realms leader card. Then go get the horn card, then you're pretty much set to beat anyone. The inkeeps are really easy, just exploit the terrible AI. Gwent is basically the best part of the game, **** finding Ciri.
Buy them off every merchant in the game, they all play too, and when you win you get better cards. I myself am too good to play gwent, therefore I will hand you all of my good cards...for a price.
