But maybe thats jjust cause Im starting to get bored of the Pokémon games...

None of the above, if you have a Ps3, play God of War 1 & 2, then buy God of War III.
If you have and xbox, play Mass Effect, then get Mass Effect 2.

New game vs remake of old game.
Choice = easy.

 

Old game is MOTHERFUCKING GOLD AND SILVER, THE INDISPUTABLY BEST GAMES IN THE POKEMON SERIES THUS FAR, THE LONG-AWAITED REMAKES OF WHICH HAVE PROBABLY BEEN THE SOURCE OF A MYRIAD OF DEATH THREATS

Save up for XIII, play XIII while saving money for HG/SS.

 

Depends whether you want a game from the best RPG series or so much nostalgia that you'll probably faint. If I had an 360 or PS3, I probably would have ignored the nostalgia factor and go straight for FFXIII.

 

And yet people see a remake of FFVII as a bad idea.

 

A remake of FFVII isn't a bad thing. I would love to have a remake, it's just that FFVII has been milked too much and people are getting sick of it.

 

Unless he has a 360, FFXIII can't be pirated >_>
