    "Times Change...And so must I...But I shall never forget this time, not this day, not one second of it. I shall always remember the time when The Doctor, was me."

    Farewell Matt. You were an excellent doctor and now we must wait till next fall for Twelve's run to start. ;_;

    Holy crap, I just watched the episode, and I'm actually surprised by the fact that I chocked up, and even nearly teared up the slightest bit. Out of happiness of course. Which is ironic (if that's even the right word to use), since I chocked up from happiness from this episode, and yet with the last episode with Amy Pond, I didn't even flinch.

    You guys don't think the next Doctor would be the last one do you? I mean, considering what we saw in the last episode, and the regeneration rules, what do you guys think?

    If Moffat wants to sleep knowing him and his family is safe from evil, he had better keep making more doctor regenerations so help me God.

    Or better yet, we could get a new showrunner.

    I wanted to cry, I really did
    NOT EVEN FOR THE DOCTOR'S DEPARTURE CAN I SHED TEARS UGH I HATE MY TEAR DUCTS

    But yeah, heartbreaking episode and even though it seemed like a rush to tie all of Moffat's loose ends, it was great.
    ( Capaldi regen took like 2 secs tho and that bugs me )

    Yea, the episode really made no sense for the most part. I'm usually pretty easy to please when it comes to Doctor Who, but most of the episode was confusing and... meh.
    Didn't stop me crying like a waterfall, though.

    And people were complaining about how quickly David turned into Matt and what a mood swing that was. This was no worse, imo.

    So how is it that he forgot how to fly the TARDIS anyway? Maybe dear old Caecilius doesn't remember when the 10th saved him

    An interesting tidbit was pointed out in the DW thread that may answer that question.

    But anyway, it could be
    the new regeneration cycle's messing up his memory. At least until August of next year, because there needs to be tension in the post-regeneration scene.

    That's what I was thinking, because they did say there were only 12 regeneration cycles, and he had a 13th, so it must have done something to do

    Tumblr has actually theorized that
    Clara and himself jumping into his timestream really f*cked up his timestream, causing him to forget sh*t.
