Grey Rep?

Whats the deal with the grey rep? It doesn't do anything.

 

Grey rep is when you have 0 rep points.

 

Its when people rep you and its not worth anything because they have little rep themselves.

 

Someone who doesn't have any rep themselves tried to give you some. xD

They should get like 5 rep when they post for the first time then they won't be totally useless when said member reps someone

 

How did that work in the beginning of the forum, if it wasn't altered D:

Did Deathspank make his rep higher and rep someone else, and then it started?

 

Soooo, if these people were to get more rep, my grey bars would turn green?

 

They wouldn't turn green, they'd stay gray.

But the NEXT time they'd rep you, after they got more rep, you'd get green.

Because it's not like you can narrow down to all those people to prevent them.

Plus, that would've made rep impossible in the first place.

 

But they shouldn't be able to give rep if it wont count.

That's just how the site is, we can't have people monitoring 24/7 on the rep system if it counts or not.

 

I think that it should do something. I've been gray repped more times than I can count. xD
