Grey Rep?

I was just given a grey rep when i looked into my CP. What does that mean? Green and red I understand. Grey - means netural? But why give one?

 

Rep threads aren't allowed, etc.

 

it means whoever repped you hadn't been repped themselves - resulting in an absolute 0

 

i've been wondering this too, what is this grey thing?

oh so that means that their giving power is 0?

 

I'm not asking for rep or anything. I'm wondering about something strange. I posted in spam so it won't even count as a post for this question. It's just weird. *nervous* I didn't mean to do somthing not allowed.
