Help Grey online members?

    I've been wondering... I sometimes see grey names in the list of online members at the bottom of the window.

    When I click the name, it says they're banned.

    How 'come they're online then?

    ...Confused.

    It might be because they were still logged in when they got banned, but since they can't access the site, they are unable to log out

    They will appear online, but they will receive a "No permission" message on everything so... not sure why they bother logging in.

    Some members who get banned don't seem to know why or how long they are banned I pressume?

    When a member is banned, they are given a ban reason and a date on which they will be unbanned. That's all they can see unless they log out.

    If the members were banned recently they'll appear on the online list. It takes 15 minutes for the forum to log you out, even after you've closed out of the site or turned off your computer.
