that's pretty good. But the head seems a bit...strange. I don't know what it is, but just looking at it, it seems like you made the chin a bit too long. And it seems like the arms don't seem like their in the right spots. One seems fine for the most part, but the other seems like it's a little too low.
Critical people are critical, I think it's really good. His head might be a bit big, chin wise maybe. The arm placement looks fine to me, it's the muscle spots that don't look quite right, but overall for a rushed job you did great. Also his spirt thing is cool and accurate.

My point is, when you're copying, you're more or less limiting criticism to whether or not the drawing looks like the original. Feedback is a lot better for you and for us if we can comment on your ability to convey shapes, space, and weight; your ability to draw.
Mypoint is, if your just gonna go on about how i copied, don't post. For your information, Drawing other things I've seen before helps me think when I'm having an artist's block (like writer's block but for drawing). So how about asking before posting things like that? And Also, I work very hard on my drawings and feel proud of them. So I'm ust gonna go ahead and ignore what you said.

As long as he didn't trace it then Ven did nothing wrong. There's nothing wrong with basing your drawing off another since that's why it's called fanart... Anyway I think it's really good- much better then I could have done and I too agree with Aqua the arms and head look a bit weird. Overall it's really cool though :D
Ok let's get one thing straight, drawing a picture of a character you did not make is completely alright. There's nothing wrong with doing that. Heck, i do that once in a while, especially with KH. I do agree with what Gultigargar said here. However, we need to remember not everyone is going to be so hardcore or has a burning passion for any field in art. This is fanart, and therefore, is art. The things i like most about this piece are: 1. The face is very well done. Nice distinct lines for the hair, eyes, ears, mouth, et cetera. 2. I really like the face in the background. Having it the same color as that feller's eyes really do work well together. Things that could use work on: (It never hurts to improve, right?) 1. The forearm of his left hand (our right) is a little short. When someone is standing straight and arms to the side, their elbow will be around the naval, and the wrist around the crotch. (Give or take, people are built differently) 2. Then his right arm is also a tad off. The shoulder/deltoid and his arm do not seem to correspond. there are two ways of fixing that. i. make the top of the bicep a little farther out when connecting to the top of the shoulder. ii. when drawing, make a skeleton of lines and circles for joints. draw the arm as if you can see through his abdominal, but when fleshing him out, don't add the part that is hidden. This will give you a more reasonable approach to proportions in the future. 3. the neck slightly too broad for the rest of his body. Well all in all this was a good turnout, i enjoyed it. I love to see others' works, be it professional or not. I don't think Gultigargar meant to offend you and your art, he was merely pointing out that it would be great to see some of your own creations and poses. Then it would be easier to truly critique and give feedback. I do agree with that, it's actually quite fun to draw your own things, but it's not wrong to make fanart! Hahaa! There are lots of resources out there if you ever need to find proportions and such, how to draw characters, and the whole shabang! So i would encourage you to try, but if not, then just keep making your good fanart! I would also suggest if you use colorpencils as your medium, don't be afraid to experiment with it. Colorpencils are great for layer on layer blending and transitions, plus it would be so much more lovely-er to see your pictures with great popping colors! Hahaa! So keep it up, and i do hope to see more of your work! Good Job!
