    I just love good luck.

In Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, I got two battles in a row with two metal king slimes in the Dragovian Path dungeon, and they didn't run away on the first turn both times and I managed to kill them. Yay!

A metal king slime is worth 30,010 experience points, so times that by four, and it's a total of 120,040 experience points. Out of those two battles, the hero leveled up to level 51, Yangus leveled up to level 52, Jessica didn't gain a level, but she should be just about close to leveling to up level 50, and Angelo leveled up to level 51.

    • Hero: First battle
    • Yangus: First battle
    • Angelo: Second battle

I said luck in general (bad or good), not good luck.

So I'm not the only one who has lots of luck that belongs to both sides. Seriously, I have tons of luck, but depending on the day, it's either tons of good luck, or tons of bad luck. You never know what someone means when they say they have lots of luck. For all you know, they walk under ladders every day (For the record, I don't believe in karma, luck, or anything of the like, it's just fun to blame something on it)

Of course now I've had, like, five encounters (not in a row) with them running away. :x
