The basic mythology behind this game was once the religion of an entire civilization. People attested to the fact that this stuff actually happened (save for Kratos and blahblahblah). Imagine if, like, four-thousand years from now we have video games with stories featuring the likes of Muhammad, Jesus, and Abraham brawling it out. That'd be a game worth buying on release day. Anyway, that's what's been eating me at this unholy United States East Coast hour. How are you all?
There won't be Video games then. They'll fully augmented reality. You wouldn't play as anyone you would BE these people. You'll be your own gods in your world! Copyrighting now any possible ideas that are stolen by people from the future.
Or maybe technology will advance so much, that you will be Jesus and you will brawl it out with Buddha and Muhammad.
I've already planned out such a game. You play as Jesus and travel back in time to defeat the dinosaurs. In the sequel you take on the greeks. You power up into your God form by earning enough followers
For all of the glorious warfare and combat that actually did take place in Biblical text and associated lore, it's kind of sad how many people literally go straight to, "Jeezis fightan!" People wrestled with angels and toppled cities in these stories, we don't need to hear about a pacifistic carpenter who happened to be, in some convoluted way, God.
