God I've spent all day stripping

And I am exhausted, hot and sweaty also, seriously tiring work.

 

But at least the walls are ready to be redecorated now, right?

Not yet, the idiots who fixed the walls before us had put cement under it for something without putting any sealer on top of that, so the wallpaper is literally cemented to the walls in some parts of the hall, meaning a 2 minute job turns into 25minutes for one small section of the wall, got about 80% off today, finish the rest tomorrow.

 

Sounds pretty hot.

I didn't know you worked in remodeling. What is it, a basement? To have concrete.

 

I don't, its my house and the halls, the house is really weird, it used to sort of be two flats ontop of each other, with people living on the seperate floors, so the walls are all stone and shiz.

 

Is it a comfortable house?

Very, short of the fact it's needing redecorated, it's a very cosy house to live in.

The walls need stripped and painted, we had the wiring redone and it left rips in pretty much every room of the house where they had to go into the wall, and left nasty brown sealant in its place, so they all need done, boring work but satisfying when its done.
