    [Lame title is lame]

Anyways, I got one of my sudden urges to make avatars. CnC would be lovely, and they are free to use if you would like to use one.

Mio is really favored...in the show.

I have listened to so many K-On songs tonight.

    56 in total.

Making this thread was a pain.

That's a lot of avatars. It's amazing how you can make so much @_@

Anyways, some are quite sharpened a bit too much. Try to ease on that. And try out Gradients and Adjustments more. I'm sure those will help you out. It could add a punch.

Also, these seem to have just the right amount of saturation. That's hood, I've seen tags that sometimes have too much of it.

Thanks for the tips. I do have a question though, about Gradients and Adjustments. Where would these be located in G.I.M.P.?

They are located in the "Colors" Bar. Gradient Map is in "Colors" -> "Map".

For gimp, it's pretty hard to acheive a good gradient map. Gimp can only handle two colors at a time, which are the foreground and background colors you picked. I'm not sure how to create more than two colors in gimp. Coloring is really hard in gimp.

As for the avatars, I like the placement of the stock. Most are too sharpened and grainy, though.

Yeah, I agree with most of the others, but I love the whiteness increase in the last four or so in the GO ones. I think it's amazing to bring out so much light, to brighten the stock.
Nice job, for a first post? I havn't seen anything else by you. D:

Thanks for the advice, I'll be trying that out.

I tried to get a good placement. I'll work on the sharpness and graininess.

I've posted some before. And thank you. I'm going to practice some more.
