http://www.boreme.com/posting.php?viral_id=28922 Watch that... I'm shocked, I mean what the hell?! How can she talk about that like it's... well, it's shocking... I mean, I'm a Christian but... there is no way I or any other Christian I know would look at what happened in such a way, or be thankful for it! I mean... JUST WHAT THE HELL?!
I saw this video already, to be honest I am half inclined to believe she is a troll, its the only explanation that actually makes any rational sense for why she would be saying stuff like this. As with those handfuls of Americans saying it was karma for Pearl Harbour making the rest of America look bad, it is people like this that give religion a bad name. I feel a little bad for wishing that someone will recognise her and punch her in the head. Considering it is meant to be a religion that encourages tolerance and compassion, this is ridiculous. edit: RA posted as I was typing, I hadn't heard she'd admitted to being a troll, but actually, I am glad she was. That actually makes me feel a little better about that. Though it was a ****** thing to do. And I still wish that someone will recognise her and punch her in the head.
Oh... I just was sent this by a mate, and we were both completely unsure of what to make of it... Still... what a thing to troll about... I feel the same... totally crossing the line, and she deserves a slap or something!...
....shes crazy. Or possibly brainwashed. I mean, how dare she! All those people who died in Japan......lots of them were, guess what,CHRISTIAN. My boyfriends friend who lived there and was killed,he was christian,as was his younger sister. But are they alive? No. How anyone could be so insenstive i cant process in my mind. Ans i really hope something awful like a tsunami happens to where she lives,so she relises what its like to lose someone you love because of NATURAL disasters. And i hope someone hits her,VERY hard.
I am in horror of what she has said. I don't understand how anyone can take a positive spin on such a horrible accident. I mean, if she is a troll then she needs to get a proper sense of humor, one that doesn't involve being a ****** or giving Christians a bad name. If she's a troll and taking the mic out of Christians then that's horrible as well. I just hope she realises that what she's said is incredible insensitive and terrible.
This girl needs freakin help. She's nuts! She's happy that people DIED. FFS someone call the ****ing crazy police even the two evangelists are losing their minds
On being positive about it, you could say that it's lucky Japan got hit and not a less developed country. As that video showed, Japan is probably the best equipped in the world to deal with a catastrophe like this. People died, but the recovering from the disaster is only a little less important that mourning those who died in it. I'm sure the brunt of it will be fine in a matter of months. The nuclear plant is the only problem I see that will be hard to fix, and even with that it seems to be resolving faster than I expected. And on the girl, I wouldn't be surprised if she's one of the people who dies in whatever disaster she's hoping will happen on Easter, if it happens that is. She fails to realize that atheists can still be good people. I can honestly say that I hope she goes nowhere when she dies. Neither Heaven nor Hell, not even Purgatory in between. Racists and discriminators like her don't deserve a place in the world, even after death.
On the one hand, the fact that this girl was revealed as trolling is good, but you've got to think that somewhere, somebody probably genuinely believes that stuff. Whether you're an Atheist, Christian, or whatever else, your life still means something, and if somebody out there thinks that so many people dying is a good sign, then I personally think that's just sad. I can't abide by anybody who says, even as a joke, that the deaths of those people in Japan are a good thing.
Well, that seems a little too far for a troll. I say we find her, package her up and send her to Japan to stay.
I know I'm doing a sort of revival to this thread, but I agree with this. The girl was trolling, but I bet you there are people out there who actually are thinking along the same lines. It makes me terrified about religion in general. Radical believers can actually think that something as horrible as the earthquake/tsunami and think of it as something wonderful. I can picture a radical christian murdering someone and saying that it's good cause it was for God.
It;s people like that who give Christians a bad name. These kind of people make up a very small percent of Christians yet their the ones who get the most attention making us look bad. On behalf of all the TRUE Christians we strongly disagree with her.
I am not a believer myself but you don't go around pulling something like that. It . . . it's just wrong. ITS . . . WRONG!!!
Well actually I heard a discussion recently at a church camp where the point was brought up that misfortune is a good thing as it allows you to acknowledge how great what was lost was. And it's true. So when you hear non-trolls saying "God is so gracious, I am thankful for him for letting me live in a situation where I could raise a puppy in the first place." after their dog died that's the basic level of what she was citing, which made it believable. Kinda weird how you added that at the end. Murder happens for every reason after all.
I understand that "bad things happen just because" but that should not be a reason to take someone's life.
