gimp help

    Ok so i downloaded some new brushed for gimp
    and i have gimp 2.6
    and i went to .gimp 2.6 then brushed and pasted them into there
    then i went on gimp and none of the new brushed are there

    You have to go to preferences and then select the path of which you want the brushes to be found.

    Ok so from memory....

    File/Edit > Preferences > Folders > Paintbrushes

    Then click on one of those buttons in that folder that lets you go find the brushes.

    I cannot remember at this second.

    EDIT: NOPE DIDNT WORK SHOULD I RE INSTALL IT

    Did you close GIMP then open it back up?

    You have to do that for it to "restart"

    yes i did now im gonna re install it and try again

    I don't remember too well but I'm pretty sure there is a refresh button. if you go to dialogues and open the brushes window. It's like two arrows. Try that.

    thanks ill try this once it gets installed again

    didnt know this would be such a big issue

    EDIT: GOT IT TO WORK CAN SOMEONE LOCK THIS PLEASE?
