I came up with this one night when I was watching Gundam. I figured out a great way to make robots easier and this is what came out. I was too lazy to work on the right leg.
The exaggerations of this is what makes it pleasing to the eye. The entire mech looks quite pointy and jagged; almost crystalline in the sense. The perspective is quite well with the exception of the right leg, which seems to throw the perspective of the mech's bottom off a bit. Though I blame that on your laziness. Besides that it is a very interesting mech, although with all of these aesthetics I would definitely love to know how exactly it would make robots a bit easier. I would also love to pilot this thing in reality if possible.
Although the geometrical design is pretty straightforward I'm with What? in questioning its actual ease. It's very detailed and involved in it's own right and hold a different aesthetic from Gundams anyways. The one thing I'd say I genuinely dislike here is that as my eye travels down the body it gets more slovenly and simple. Not just the incomplete leg and lower torso, the arms lack the same dimension I see at the top. But since I had to look at this for several minutes just to know what I liked and didn't I'll be willing to say I'm nitpicking with my last points. I'm more a fan of the Evas, Machinas, and Gundams of the world but this style isn't bad at all.
I don't have the ability to draw roboats so I have no idea what Jiku and What? are talking about, I envy this talent you have. And I really like it, but man your laziness on that leg kills it. /:
