This actually comes in 4 parts, but it all has to do with getting the Ultimate Weapon.
    1) What level does Sora get the Lucky Strike Ability?

    2) Are there any other places you can get Thunder Gems instead of just Atlantica?

    3) What's the drop rate of Bright Crystals, and how much more chances do you have using Lucky Strike?

    4) Is there any way to know where and when White Mushrooms will appear?

I only need to collect 9 Thunder Gems, 2 Blaze Gems, 1 Bright Gem, 3 Gales, and 2 More Mystery Goos and I'll basically be good for getting the Ultimate Weapon in KH. I just need to know these so I'll know what to do

The level you get lucky strike at depends on what weapon you chose at the beginning of the game.

    Staff - 15
    Shield - 39
    Sword - 69

Thunder gems can also be obtained from White Mushrooms. Just keep hitting it with thunder.

I can't find a percentage for bright crystals but they are very rare.

The path I would recommend is the Traverse Town hotel. There are three Defenders in the hallway and a chance of white mushrooms in the red room. If you still need mystery goos after getting the bright crystals let me know and I can help you further.

I'll do the hotel for the white mushrooms, but I've been fighting in the 3rd District for the Bright Crystals, since you can get 6 defenders there, and just go back and forth for that.

But dang, lv69 for Lucky Strike huh? That kinda stinks. I'm only lv62 or 63, so I've still got a way. And even getting 1920 Exp fighting in 3rd District will still take me a while to get that high. Too bad I can't just go straight to the Rock Titan. That would help so much

    3. Bright Crystals are a 2% drop from Defenders. Not sure how much Lucky Strike increases that, but if KH2 is anything to go by, maybe a 30% (90% if everyone has it equipped) increase (Around 2.6-3.8%)?

    4. It's random when they appear, but they will only appear at the Lotus Forest (Wonderland), Camp (Deep Jungle), Treasure Room (Agrabah), Red Room (Traverse Town), Graveyard (Halloween Town), Undersea Cave and inside the Sunken Ship (Atlantica), and the room before Final Rest (End of the World). It's a 20% drop if all three spells are the same, 10% if they aren't. But if you have the patience, you can always juggle a Rare Truffle 100 times.

I can't even get a Rare Truffle twice. I stink at those things

The reason I like the hotel is that by going through the green and red rooms you can respawn the hallway in a few seconds.

A nice way to do rare truffles is at Neverland. They appear on deck and flight makes it loads easier.

I must agree that in Neverland the battles with Rare Truffles is very very very easier, because you're flying so just press X button.

But to find them, I like to go to the Final Rest, save and go back one room. There Rare Truffles may show up, but if they didn't show up, I use reset (R1+R2+L1+L2+Start+Select) and keep going there until they arrive. Isn't hard that way too.

And if you find them somewhere besides Neverland, keep pressing O button then X button -> O button then X button -> O button then X button. But be careful with hit the wrong button, if this happen say bye bye and go find another Rare Truffle.

Edit: JUST do O button and X button when you land, with yours TWO FEET on the floor, then start the O and X.

    Also, good luck. =]

well, I managed to use the White Mushrooms in Atlantica, since they were there almost every time I went. (Although I didn't get any thunder gems from them since they didn't do the thing for it enough, so I got stuck going back and forth fighting those Screwdivers or whatever)
I've got everything except the 9 Gales and Lucid Gems(don't know how much of those I need), but once I get them, I'll be able to get the last 4(counting the Ultimate Weapon) synthesis items. This is actually the first time I've gotten this close to it in this game.
I also plan on fighting the secret bosses, since I might as well try everything. I just hope the Ultimate Weapon is worth it in this game. If it's weaker than Oblivion, it was not worth it one bit.

If I remember correctly it is one point stronger than oblivion, adds two to magic, and has long reach.

But it sounds like you are basically home free at this point. Hope you enjoy Ultima once you wrap it up.
