In 1 hour i'm getting my wisdom teeth removed. I'm just glad I don't have to work this week. It certainly makes the day a lot nicer

First day is really the only bad day -- at least it was for me.

The stronger the pain reliever they give you afterwards, the less you remember. At least that was how it was for me. Vicodin rocks.

There's two ways this can go:

    1) The common one where your face puffs up like a chipmunk and you're sore and on T3's for the next week. This happened to four of my friends.

    2) The uncommon one where you don't really swell or have much pain. I had this one.

Make sure you keep the holes clean. My dentist gave me this syringe with a tube instead of a needle so I could spray water at the openings, keeping them clean without brushing. Also, but a crap tonne of ramen beforehand, break it into little pieces and boil it twice as long as the package says. This way you can just swallow instead of chew.

I've had vicodin, and it didn't effect me at all. Got rid of the pain, but I didn't get sleepy or high, as my mom put it

I remember when my wisdom teeth were removed. Hiiiiigh as a kite and watching the Walking Dead. Passed out during episode two and slept all the way to the end of episode 3.

My wisdom teeth were never removed. I can still feel them chilling out at the back of my mouth.

Since I had to change the gauze pads every 30 minutes at first, I really couldn't sleep. But later on I get trying to, just because I had to stay on the couch in the living roomm, where the TV has nothing to watch because it doesn't have cable, so it got boring pretty fricken quickly. Today I don't have to do any of that, and I can finally start eating things again. I just need to find a way to Steak N' Shake for lunch, because I haven't eaten in 36 hours, and I need something good

I have gaps at the back of my teeth where my wisdom teeth are supposed to come in, but they haven't yet.
