This situation just keeps getting worse for me. 5/7 days a week I seriously want to run away, and the other two I'm just too tired to do it. Doesn't help I haven't gotten my license, but that wouldn't stop me. I just hate my parents, and I have to work really hard not to yell stuff back at them. I'm not even out of highschool, and I have no money, so I would pretty much be living on the street. And yet, that seems a better life then what I'm going through right now. Any ideas?

Well Kaytlin I do not think you should run away because you don't have anywhere too go or any money really (I told you you should get a job!). Plus then you would leave me here to deal with them which would make me want to run away an we both know that I can't live on the streets because I would be dead within an hour.

Everyone gets fed up (I mean, royally FED UP) with their parents at some time. It happened to me, it's happening to my best friend, it happened to my brother, it happens to everyone. The only cure that won't destroy your life is to tough it out for the last year or so of hih school and head out to ollege first thing. Did wonders for me. Running away won't solve anything, and then you would be part of the unemployment/poverty problem. To help, try going over to friend's houses as often as possible, find an after-school program to get involved in, or find a stress-releasing hobby to help you deal with this.

    your help

u need to find yourself and forgive yourself for things that you have done that have been bothering you. Running away is not going to solve the problem, but make it worse. I know its hard having no money, but try finding something that you like to do that pays. You can do anything that you put mind to it.

childofturin speaks the truth. It's a natural part of adolescence to want to get away from your parents. if it doesn't happen to you, you're rather fortunate. But if it does get to the point where you just can't take it anymore, see if a close friend or family member can put you up for a few days.

I would rethink the idea of living on the street. No one would ever want that. At least you have a place to stay, are warm and have food, water, and bathroom facilties available to you. If I were you I would find out why you hate your parents and talk to them about your problems. Tell them how you feel? As for the money situation, it doesn't hurt to babysit or walk dogs or even offer to clean someone's house that you know for a fee. Also you can try to list all of your accomplishments and what you're good at. Look at that list and think about what makes you happy. Try being optimistic and you'll feel better about yourself.
