Birth by Sleep Genie, does he know of the Keyblade War?

Plot:
We all know Genie, right? Well as we all may figue out, genies ARE immortal, meaning they can live for hundreds and thousands of years.

Theory:

KH1:
Genie, whom is freed from the lamp by Aladdin, can now go anywhere, thanks to Aladdin's wish for him to be free, meaning he has hes own free will now.

KH2:
Genie, whom since was freed, decided to travel the worlds insearch for relaxation and fun with Carpet. Then he returned to Agrabah and grabbed Jafar's Lamp and he sealed it in the palace.

KHBBS:
Since BBS takes place 10 years before KH1, theres a possibility that Genie could've heard or known of the Keyblade War. And I explained that genies live for thousands of years. Since it takes 10 years before KH1, meaning that Genie is still on hes lamp, but, someone could've heard of a magical and freed him. A quote from Genie:

"Its been DECADES since I had a master!"

Decades, as in 10, could mean to us that he was freed 10 years ago, or may I be wrong, but the theory is still strong thought.

What im trying to say is that since genies are immortal, Genie could've assisted or been in the Keyblade War either by being a summon or by assisting Yen Sid...

 

Your theory is good,but i don't think that genie is an important character who plays an important role in kh's plot.Despite that,your thinking was great,good job. ^_^

 

I know, also, Mickey could'vetell Donald and Goofy to not comment any of this to Sora, and then they told Genie to this.

But Genie can be an important character, since hes a Genie, meaning he has omnipotent powers, he has a possibility to either give power to a Kyeblade or create one. But if Agrbah is in BBS, wom I think will take place, it means that either MX will use Genie to kidnapp Jasmine or either use him as a "bait" for Terra, Ven and Aqua to "bite"...

 

Interesting...seems unlikely,but who knows...

 

Important powers,don't mean he has an important role.He isn't an important character since:

1)He is a summon,he is only useful for the gameplay NOT the plot.

and

2)Such important information will only be told by a character that's REALLY close to sora.(mickey,goofy etc.)

So even IF genie knew these information,it wouldn't be something important.

But what if Terra, Aqua and Ven were searching for keyblades? Since Genie has two, Three Wishes and Wishes Lamp, they could search for Genie since he has two of em, either by one befriending him and the other by acquiring it.

 

This is getting WAY too far...Well,you can't just go around and say ''what if'' all the time,i'm sorry but it's true since you don't have evidence!The keyblade chooses its wielder,you can't force it to choose you!So,no again...

 

Ok, sorru my bad, but maybe Ven, Terra and Aqua were ordered by Yen Sid to search for allies for the final battle with MX? I mean, with only a key-shaped sword you can't win against a mad amniac with mistical powers and a gigantic blade! You need teampower.

 

i would agree, but the fact that genie said decades, with an "s" at the end, chances r he missed the bbs timeline...besides, how do we know that he wasnt stuck in his lamp the whole time...its hard to hear anything in there...

 

That's true. After all, Genie does have a keyblade.

 

DecadeS. The S being the key there. A decade is 10 years. Which means that he had to be in there for at least 20 years for it to be decades. And the way that he says it implies that it was much more than just 2 decades.

And for you people saying that Genie had a keyblade: NO HE DIDN'T! He gave Sora two KeyCHAINS, not KeyBLADES. There is a huge difference. The Keychain is simply something that is clipped to the end of the Keyblade that gives it new abilities and a new appearance, but is not a weapon itself, nor does it have any of the properties of the keyblade. All it does is alter the keyblade. And during the summon, if that's what you're referring to, he does not use a keyblade, but a staff/blade made from his wispy tail. Not a keyblade.

It is possible that Agrabah is a world in the game, since Jasmine is a Princess of Heart, and the others seem to be in it thus far. But, I doubt that Genie would play a big role, if he's in it at all.

 

Genie does have a keyblade. He whips it out when you summon him.

I don't know how you people can say that what Genie has is a keyblade, if you're arguing that what Terra has isn't.

 

The keyblade that Genie wields is the same one given to Sora in KH1. At least, if my memory is correct. And also, the thing Genie wields has a keychain attached.

Genie wouldn't of known a thing

I couldn't believe he wouldn't have I mean where you said "He could of been freed 10 years ago", a decade is 10, but decades are multiple which would mean a lot more time has been wasted in that lamp.

In the movie I beleive he said either 100 or 1000 years he said he had been freed, but I may be wrong

I guess we'll just wait until BBS comes out to see which one of us is right.

And yeah the thing genie makes out of his tail isnt a keyblade. Its a nice little imitation. Notice how he also copies soras drive forms?

Could we SPAMM less and get to the topic? Thanks. Also, what we don't know is that when the first keyblade was forged or created or what was its design? I imagine the design has to look n00b-ish since is the first time they forged a blade in the form of a key...

 

This line actually undoes your theory. If it is "decades" then it has to be at least 2 decades, meaning 20 years, 10 years before BbS, at a minimum.

In fact, if Genie has any apperance in BbS, then its either a plothole, or Genie lied.
