mehhh made me sad when axel disappered in the 2nd game -.- does that mean he's gone for good? T.T

I've had it going for a while now. Although it has turned into a debate about how evil OrgXIII really is.

Nah. If Sora died, we would just have to restart from the last save point. There's just no stopping that kid! :p

Well Sora could have killed the nobodies, he already killed 1000 heartless.

Anyway I'd certainly be a tad bit annoyed if Axel were to re-appear in the next sequel. That would totally ruin his moving death.

 

Agreed. Axel died as part of the storyline, and his "sacrifice" played a huge role at the end of the game. Having him come back out of the blue in the next game would be....odd.

 

Axel died because he idiotically performed a kamikaze attack to help Sora.

I'm sorry but sacrifice makes it sound too noble. Axel only did it as he had nothing to "live" for. If helping Sora had meant killing himself when he had something to "live" for he wouldn't have done it. Axel only helps people if it's worth it too him. He's not at all noble but I suppose you can understand, he has a yearning to stay "alive"...well until his end of course ^^;.

Ah well he didn't even really die according to that report.

Actually, I really don't mind, because is in the same lines I was thinking of, though a bit more soft on his reasons why. You have to give him credit that he was the only Org. member that actually did the right thing in the end by finding his wrongs, yet he didn't redeem himself that much in my eyes. I don't think he even did it truly for Sora, but much more for Roxas since he lives inside him. People mostly feel sympathy for him because of what he went through, but as a person...eh, I'm not convinced.

And his death was so questionable. Like, if Sora can defeat a thousand Heartless, he couldn't defeat the Nobodies in Betwixt and Between? o.O

 

Unless he knew what death could bring to him...

 

Don't get me wrong I can sympathize with him unlike what my last past may suggest. Yes I think one of the reasons he did the kamikaze attack was for Roxas as it was obvious that Roxas was going to return to Sora and in the end it was what he wanted so Axel pretty much had to save Sora is Roxas was going to be "happy".

Between Roxas being gone and not having a heart he didn't see any point in living his "life" but yeah as I said it wasn't a noble death.

You're right his death was questionable.
