Do you think the guy's answer is true? I'm not really sure about it.

 

I believe it happens after the Sora vs Roxas battle. But I don't think Sora has all of Roxas' memories as he doesn't recognise namine.

 

Didn't all of Roxas' stats transfer once you got Sora anyway? I sincerely doubt he got all of his memories from when he was in TT, wouldn't Sora mention that?

 

Well Namine did erase everything that had to do with her and castle oblivion from Sora's mind.

 

You're complately forgetting Roxas and Namine meeting.

 

Sora never got Roxas memories, only all of his own at the very end.

And Jiminy's Journal is irrelevant's from our point of view.

I meant, it suddenly 'updates' with all Roxas stuff once you get to Data Twilight/After you fight Roxas (not sure when), if Sora did remember all that happened with Roxas in TT he'd remember org 13 and all of Roxas life, and he clearly didn't.

 

Yeah...

So any first conclusion?

 

Zagonar's counterpoint for the argument would only make sense if the entry for Twilight Thorn was added after Sora entered the Data Twilight Town. If it wasn't, it's invalid. I also doubt that Sora had gained some of Roxas' memories because he was always wondering why people were calling him Roxas all the time which would be a stupid thing to ask if you had your Nobodies' memories. I'm not really sure how the entry got in their but I'm guessing that the writers just put it there because in the end, the Journal is basically a bestiary which is suppose to have a record of every enemy fought.

 

i think that the reason its in Jiminy's journal...is because its a game...and its basically put in for the gamer...its not the part that Sora would read..its more for us..


you understand? i dont know if i said that correctly. but, i think the journal we see is for us, the gamers. and the one Sora sees is...the legit journal...

Of course we understand, who gives a **** if it makes sense in game? It was our achievement and I'll be damned if we're not gonna get the credit for it.

 

Yeah, but I'm sure eventually Nomura will notice that and find some way to make it makes sense. His basic thing with Kingdom Hearts is that EVERYTHING fits in some way.

But Roxas didn't join the party till the end of the game...

 

Roxas was always with Sora after he merged with him at the end of the sixth day so Sora could wake up. Sora even starts showing some of Roxas' emotions like shedding a tear after leaving Twilight Town for the first time even though he had never been there before.

 

I think I am forgetting parts of the story. xD
And something else:
When exactly did the battle with Twilight Thorn take place?

 

I'm pretty sure that it happened on the third day.

 

Yeah, pretty sure it was during the third day during Roxas' awakening of course.

I think some of you people are looking a little to much into this though xD

 

i think they just put it in there to to tell us who the boss was and his name and to not have any purpose because you only see jimmiy the cricet in only one cutschene in the beginig and hes not in the rest of the game

 

I thought that the twilight thorn entry appeared after Sora fought Xemnas for the first time, and the reason would be because Sora would only have vague recolections of Roxas' memories, so maybe he remembered the twilight thorn almost like a dream, and he insisted that jiminy put it in, because he thought it was something that happened durring the time that they couldn't remember. (COM)
Insisting on something completly random is something I wouldn't put past Sora, if it's in his heart, it's in his interest.
