Formatting Discs/Preordering FM+

Okay, two questions that I'm too lazy to look for on google.

I recently got the first FM off of ebay. Can I format the disc to be able to work on a north american PS2? I believe I read somewhere that I can, but I need to know how. Other question; I'm about to preorder KH2 FM, but I want to make sure I can get the Another Report book with it. I'll die if I dont have it, hehe. The only places I've found that you can preorder the game with the book is from square enix and on the japanese amazon. These sites are only in japanese, and the amazon site that "this item cannot be shipped outside of japan". So does anyone know somewhere to preorder the game & the book that will ship to the US?

You can't format the disc. What you need is something called Swap Magic with Magic Keys (slim PS2) or a Slide Card (original PS2) to play the game. As for ordering KH2: FM+...

thanks. actually, i knew that i could preorder the game on the play-asia site wayyy befor i posted this, but i just found out that the 'another report' book only gets shipped to japan. so i can preorder the game to come to the us, but not the book.:(

 

I think you'll live. If you're desperate, get it off eBay in a few months.

 

Ebay will be your saviour for the 'Another Report'. So just wait.
