    _For The Rain_

You’ll look at her, perfect to you,
    You won’t see perfection
    But you’re blinded by it
Can’t you see you're killing her?
    Why won’t you stop?

    Drip, Drip, Drip,

    It’s coming down,

    Drip, Drip, Drip,

    The tears of only one,
Makes the rain from the heavens on an autumn’s day,

    Drip, Drip, Drip,

    She always cries,
But you won’t see her face full of tears,
    The person inside,
    It cries all the time,
    Begging for only one,
    Just one,

    To be there for her,
    To accept her,
To love her, for just being her,

You’ll laugh, and smile, and not care about the scars,
    But does she know that?

I’ll hold her up, with all I can
My body may be young and weak,
But my Heart is alive for her,
As my body will perish, my Heart and my Love,
    That’s something that won’t die

    Drip, Drip, Drip…
Will you help stop the rain from crying?

Its just something I had an impulse of.
It was a rainy day making me think about the rain, and about the topic.
Its the best title I could think of, and I wasn't trying to rhyme.

Looks more like a diary entry after getting dumped by someone and thinking you still have a chance with them even though they hate you...

    ...

Eh, it's ok I guess... you overuse imagery and like Rosey said, it doesn't flow too much. Don't give up though, it was a good try.

Wow...this is just like a song...great job. :) Although you forgot to put an apostrophe in the first verse for "you're"...but anyway, I think this is a nice personification of rain. It sounds awesome, awesome job~! And since I'm hearing some music, it totally matches the beat of my music. XD

Well, it's okay. It's a bit emo-ish. And kind of repetitive. But I suppose it is okay. I give you a 6/10.

Huh, emo-ish? (and someone tell me the emo-ish part)

Seriously, Do you think the worlds filled with rainbows, kindness, happiness and puppies?

Not to mention, the rain is usually, to many people, a depressing type of weather, the mood of the poem should be depressive.

and thanks for that correction Nymph.

Hmmm, I guess your right there, but I meant specific words that made it depressing.

    Over use of imagery....emo-ish....flow...

Looks like i'm one of the people that actually like when writers try to break the norms. To me there is never enough imagery and there should never be a set flow.

A good poem and I especially like your last couplet.
