I'm looking for some solid folk/acoustic bands/songs. I really enjoy songs/bands that utilize both male and female vocals, but either would be fine on its own. The only other bands like this I've really tried are Bright Eyes, Backseat Goodbye, 1997, and Slow Club.

    Thanks. :]

Don't know any bands for sure, but here are acoustic some songs I like (you may know a few).

Breaking Benjamin - Diary of Jane (Acoustic)
    Evan & Jaron - I Could Fall
    Foo Fighters - Home
Lifehouse - From Where You Are
Marie Digby - What I've Done
Nine Inch Nails - Hurt (Quiet)
    Red - Nothing and Everything
    Rise Against - Everchanging (Acoustic)
    Rogue Wave - Eyes

And one band I know of that mostly does quiet songs is Trading Yesterday.

Gregory and the Hawk. I'd like to say my personal favorites from GATH are Boats & Birds and In Fact, but soo many of her songs are just amazing, I can't pick just a few (I think it's just one person in the 'band', anyway).

Here's a video she recorded of herself performing. Most of her songs are a bit slower than this though, it seems.

While not acoustic, Tyr and Korpiklaani are great folk metal bands.

This is going to sound odd, but Lady Gaga has a few good acoustic-like songs. And the acoustic version of Pokerface is AMAZING <3
