I'm currently trying to develop a story for Studio Ghilibi called Flight Upon One's Wings. Story editing process will take about probably weeks before I'm able to publish it on here. SUMMARY: After her father's death, Kumiko Hatoshi wanted to become the first woman pilot to join in the army. During that time though, women weren't allowed to join the army so Kumiko had to cut her hair short and pretend to be a man to be allowed into the army and be able to become a pilot.
It may just be me, but this is hitting a little too closely to 'Mulan' isn't it? At any rate, it sounds like it'd be a nice story. I'd love to take a look at it once it's finished. Is there perhaps something you were looking for help with?
