The beta of Firefox 4 has been released. As you can see, I'm using it.
It looks pretty nice, "personas" are compatible, but most add-ons are not. Adblock is the only one I have that is.
It's noticeably faster on some sites, some are just the same. Youtube videos are definitely faster.
Starting it up is noticeably slower, and for me it started up kind of buggy, but it sorted itself out in a few second.
Also, the minimize/maximize/close buttons are gone. I don't know if that's just me.
Official release apparently coming in the fall.

Bleg, I am not a fan of how rearranged everything is, and I'm going to hate looking for my old add-ons. :l I'm so dependent on them. I won't update until my Whitehart theme is compatible though, I can't live without it. But otherwise, I trust that it's another great release by Mozilla.

Well, it is a beta. So of course it looks weird.

I'm sure they would change and fix some problems afterward.

I'm guessing stick with PaleMoon for now if you want a better version of FF.

    This^

I'd rather wait til it comes out officially than deal with the beta.

And are you sure there's no minimize, maximize, close button?

I'll wait until it comes out officially. Even if the bugs you mentioned are minor they're still bugs, and the only bug I like on my computer is the MSN butterfly.

Hopefully by the release those will be fixed, because otherwise this looks pretty good.

It looks similar to Chrome actually, which I use. I know for me at the moment, speed isnt exactly "appealing" anymore. I have safari, firefox and chrome. All of them are fast, or rather, fast enough. At this point I guess its about how customizable they are. If this firefox has as many/more addons than the last, then I'm good.

I used to really like Firefox, but this beta doesn't look that great. Of course, it is a beta, but still... I'd rather use IE even. @-@

Guys, everything you see in the beta that you don't like aesthetically is fully customizable. My FF looks exactly like it did in 3 now, except i kept tabs on top.
