Finally got around to watching Madoka Magica

took me long enough, jeez. And this is probably one of the few anime I'll actually listen to the intro every time I watch an episodes. Madoka Magica probably has some of the best music I've seen in an anime, and that's saying something for me, considering how many anime I've watch that have good music

Its a bit slow in taking off BUT THEN THE TEARS WON'T STOP!

Don't make fun, I've only seen like three episodes.

And I'm willing to bet they're the only three worth seeing-*brick'd*

Did they seriously do that only 3 episodes in? That's a shocker

But only 3 episodes in? Even Gurren Lagann waited longer than that. That's just amazing that they would do that so soon. I keep thinking they're going to do something about it

But don't let that stop you. Gurren was a great series despite what happened halfway through and it's the same sort of thing with Madoka.

 

Watch it, thread. Don't you spoil anything. That would be unfortunate.

Here's the thing though. The creator of the show, Gen Urobuchi (who also made Fate/Zero), has nothing but contempt for the thing we call happiness.

 

I disagree with everyone here, and simply say that the series gets better as you go further along. More truths are revealed, reasons behind those truths are revealed, and all that.
I still say everybody should compare it with Nanoha though. Completely opposite side of the spectrum, but equally as good.
