It didn't impress me much :/ It's not really terrible, but it's not like previous FFs. It could be an RPG under another title.
It's like Marmite, you either love it or hate it. I enjoyed it up to a certain point where it just got boring and the plot and setting of the game are just terrible IMO. The main character doesn't act like a typical FF main character as he doesn't really add too the plot much after a while.
Eh, it was pretty good I guess. Just only the problem was I lost interest in it kind of quickly. And if your friend buys it, tell them to level up at the very beginning of the video game. If they don't, they're going to have a heck of a time with the other levels. D8
I personally liked it. I had a few things I wish were different with the game and story but I say it's pretty great. It was the first Final Fantasy I played and it got me hooked into the series.
Loved every second of it. People who hated it played the skeleton of the game, and never really went deeper.
^This = wintruth^ Anyway, Balthier was an alright character. But seriously, it's like they were trying to hard to impress us with the game. In the other installments, they made the game how they visioned it, and we were impressed. In this one, they added a bunch of unneeded flashy sh*t to try and "ooh and aah" the younger generation. It was an alright game, but it would be better if it weren't named FFXII.
Well, I personally love FFXII. The main reasons why most people don't like it, is because they either 1) Are afraid 'cause the game mechanics are too new or/and 2)Fail to see the bigger picture. The bigger picture being the Occuria.
He meant the real FFII obviously. The gameplay is mediocre at best due to the leveling system. While FFIV's leveling system is classic, like the others. In any case, I for one can't say that I loved or hated FFXII. It left me truly unsatisfied when I finished the game. But I thoroughly enjoyed the battle system.
I still haven't finished it... But I am really enjoying it... The battle system is much better than previous games, the characters are different to what they ususally are, which I enjoy, as it is something that has been on my expectation list for a while... Story is a little confusing but overall it's a good game...
I liked the game, but I didn't love it. I did enjoy the battle system for a while and I especially like the Quickenings and Espers but when the plot fell over and died (which pushed Vaan into the pointless character role) I lost interest. The game is good, i'm not going to deny that but it's not what i'd want for a Final Fantasy. They could of just slapped Summoner 3 on it as a title and no one would be none the wiser. You either love it, hate it or are stuck with a feeling of "That it?". No need for pointless sneaky insults towards others because they don't have the same opinions as you and/or don't like the game as much as you. The point of disscussion is to share your opinons not force them down the necks of others. It's just one game after all and we're all KH/FF fans so even if we don't like one game we're sure to like another from the series. And in this case this game is one of the downers by alot of fans while most others like somewhere between VI-IX the most. We mustn't be like Famitsu. (No ones going to get this joke .-.) Also, wtf is up with Ashe's pose? If she slips, she's going to be picking her nose. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/finalfantasy/images/c/c6/Ashe.jpg
Pretty cool is not enough to describe the monsters in this game. Take Yiazmat as an example. It's a mega large dragon. With most HP amount in almost any game. Ever. 56+ millions. Or Omega Mark XII. With 1,000,000HP(*10 in JPN version). But what makes Mark special, is that it's the 'mother' to all the other Omegas. In the entire series. How's that for epic.
