I decided to restart all over again with the help of my strategy guide. So far my chracters of choice are: Tidus, Rikku, and Yuna (Lulu and Kimarhi for awhile too!) I have Yuna On Lulu's board to get Double cast so she an dole out Double Firaga's. Tidus is my main attacker so he is on Auron's as of now. Rikku went straight to Tidus' and never went through hers at all! Yuna will go through all of Lulu's then move on to Kimarhi or something...I might switch her out soon though. After Rikku is done, she will go to Auron. Tidus will go to Rikku's and then I will kill sin x.x That's a huge strategy x.x So thats where I've been when I am not on kh-vids lol ^^;
sin is a pain i still haven't defeated him X( i've played the game over three years but now my charecters r strong and i thught of the perfect strategy but i lost the game :cryinganime: :crashcomp:
I'm just now getting into FFX. The spheregrid is rather intimidating, so though I'm leveled up enough to move many, many spaces, I haven't moved much because I don't know which directions I want the characters to go. ^^;
I haven't played it for 3 years. Picked up from my earliest game save and kicked Seymour's arse. Oh yeah.
This was the first game for the ps2 (well, i bought this the same day i bought KH) and it took me...four years to beat it. I'd start playing and get really into it for like a week, then get bored and leave it for a month or two, then repeat. I was about halfway through and my older sister, who loves this game, accidentally over-wrote my data and i had to start all over again. I finally beat it, though, and i enjoyed it thoroughly. Don't get me started on X-2, though. Hated that game.
I already finished it once so I started a new game but somehow I can't defeat Seymour on Mount Gagazet.
I'm sorry but at least you beat it eventually right? I loved it and just continued...I am trying to get them all through the board or something...that is my ultimate goal!
I bought a used copy of the game and am currently in.... some place in the mountains after defeating the chocobo eater (I was promised level 1 sphere keys in reward but got nothing - hax!! >:o ), I have all except Rikku on the team. .. I think it'll take a while to play this game. And I agree about the sphere grid being a frikkin maze.
look at the advanced spere grid in the international version, thats a labryth ;P good strategy for really strong party: as stupid, useless, and what seems like a "time consuming" job isn't actually that bad. just ... 1) never run from any battle 2) always put all your characters in every battle (have them guard or something like that) by the time you get to sin, your party = true beasts ;P

Auron was my guy through and through. I had everything unlockable up till the Ronzo Mountain (can't recall the name) but couldn't for the life of me get past Seymour. Then my memory card broke and i've had other games on my hands to play. I think i'll crack this one back out this summer and beat. Youtube sucks for ruining game endings PS.
Wait... Can a USA PS2 play International? Or do I need a swap magic or something? I must know now ;~;
