Several weeks ago I had the honor of obtaining Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. Now that I have finished all 3 stories on Standard mode I was wondering how I unlock the final episode and have the ability to fight Terranort, Vanitas's Lingering Spirit, and The Mysterious Figure. If anyone can help I would be happy. Thank you all.:)

on standard?...good luck. you need to find all of the Xehanort Reports in the game. and if you have finished the stories you should have most, you might have missed one in a chest somewhere.

for the secret movie however at the end you are going to basically have to find EVERYTHING. all the Xehanort reports and i think finish the journal 100%

to be honest it would have been easier to finish the game on proud. where you simply need to complete the 3 stories and get all the Xehanort Reports.

as for the battles. Terranort wasnt too bad, but my Aqua is f-ing the best. but as for the other two secret bosses...i cant even lay a finger on Vanitus spirit. and im like 50.

for any of the final bosses you are gonna have to have ever ability AND the ultima keyblade, which you can get by finishing the last round of the Mirage Arena...good luck im still working on it. :/

Basically on Standard Mode you need to complete the Journal, that includes Crown Stickers, Mini-games, unversed and even the Secret Bosses in TVA to have all enemies, you also need every command, D-Link level, items, Shotlocks and such as well as obtaining the Reports.

I went Proud Mode for a challenge and easier to unlock the secret movie, I'm working on the Ice Cream flavours, then Mirage Arena to get that Ultima Weapon, I already beat Vanitas's Lingering Sentiment with Aqua and Ven using the Mine Shield/Square, 4 of one of those and have four slots filled by Potions since Vanitas's LS can hela itself when you use Cure and it's forms, so boring old Potions work immensely well, and keep the original dodge moves, it actually helps avoid his two hit kills when you have Second Chance and Once More under your belt.

All I got to do secret boss wise is Beat VLS with Terra using same combination with Chaos Ripper and have his LV6 Finisher, the MF will have to wait until I hit my levels in the 90's, that shows how much of a annoyance he is.

I don't believe you need to have defeated Vanits' Lingering Sentiment or MF to get the Secret Movie. You only need to have seen all Unversed to fill up the enemy section, though since I haven't defeated either I'm not sure.
I too took the stupid route of trying Standard Mode, just so i have a more robust playing experience to get the Secret Movie. Like I'd eanerd it. But if I knew the Ice-creams an dminigames would have been included I would have stuck with Proud mode. Still i'll try to do it with one character and see if that's enough to tick the boxes, though I highly doubt it. Good Luck, is all I can say.

    Vanitas Remnant*

Vanitas Remnant does appear in the journal when you beat him but if it counts towards getting the secret movie though...well, I doubt it but it's still worth a try.
