    Once things with MegaUpload are sorted out, I'm sure it will return to normal.

    It isn't fully disabled to the public per say. There just isn't any file sharing.

    That was kinda the whole point behind the site. Now its effectively just a storage shed. If Mediafire falls...I'm fear for the government websites.

    I just downloaded a file from FS 20 minutes ago so I gets its not as bad as pulling down the site all together.

    No, not at all. Not everyone uses online storage like that to share things. And Mediafire won't mean the end of the world. It would suck but the biggest is already gone. Megaupload was the worst possible hit for file sharing.
