    ...

    I hardly remember that battle.

I just remember having plenty of elixers. About 4 or 5. And about 4 cures too.

The Jafar card is very useful here. You have to have some 0 cards either scattered thoughout your deck, kept in the end or beginning of your deck, or even both for easy use. Use them only for breaking Riku's Dark Aura; don't waste the availability of 0 cards on Dark Firaga; just dodge them. I wouldn't suggest any Magic or Summon Cards against him, 'cause he evades or breaks them almost easily, and his Riku (SLEIGHT LOCK) card gives him resistance over some elements such as lightning. But if you still want to use some of those cards against him, it's okay; cards like Cloud give great damage. Use cure cards when you think there is no danger of him breaking your cards. I don't know what sleights you use, so I'll leave that one up to you; just use them wisely. And one last thing, as much as possible, don't get hit by that second slash in his normal combo; it immobilizes you.

Get Aeros, go to the Destiny Islands and use a Bounty for Judgment, and then spam the Judgment Sleight. Riku doesn't have any weaknesses to abuse, unlike all the bosses after him, but be sure to use Parasite Cage on the annoying Incrementor effect.

Put Cures and then 0s at the end of the deck, so you can just press R a couple of times to use them whenever you need them.

    Hm...

    by then I had a bunch of 9 and 8 cards >.>

I placed the 0 cards at the end of the deck so i could quick get to them if I needed to card break him. >.> I'm not big of combining cards ((I'm more hack and slash)) but I suggest trying out the other ppls advices ^^ But you could try arranging your deck like I did~

but what ever suits you ^^ and be sure to have loads of cures! =]

good luck! I know it took me a long time ^^

Put Cure cards, Zero Attack Cards, and Potions/Ethers at the end of the deck. Put in high level cards like 9s or 8s.

I just beat Riku a second ago on my lowest-health-challenge file.

Anyways, the amount of Cure cards you have in your deck should be in proportion to how much health you have and how well you can dodge Riku's attacks. Because I had 80 HP and I could dodge MOST of his attacks, I had 7 heals because of the amount of damage he can do.

Try to avoid using summon cards if possible, UNLESS it's a very high Omnislash sleight. As for healing, carry about 5-7 heals. I recommend most of your heals being 0 cards. You can break Riku's sleights AND heal at the same time, so that's useful. As for your Keyblades, get your 6s-9s. They work the best. If they are Kingdom Keys, put them in anyways. 0s are a MUST. Enemy cards are good, too. The best ones are Jafar (Attack Bracer effect allows the opponent to not be able to break your ATTACK cards for 20 ATTACK cards that are successful at being used. However, your cards can be able to attack, but they can still miss and count against you), Barrel Spider (When you are trying to reload, once you finish focusing, instead of your deck going through the shuffling sequence, it will automatically reload your deck with only a second delay. Literally), Oogie Boogie for his Regen effect that heals you every so often. Search Ghost is also good, which allows the amount of damage you inflict on your opponent with Attacks to heal your HP. You don't really need enemy cards, but if you have room, then go put them in. I was able to because I had about 1000+ CP at the time.

Now for your deck setup. I'll show you visually.
IN THIS ORDER FROM TOP TO BOTTOM:
    Enemy cards
Your Keyblades- 9 to 6 should go first in numerical order.
Next, your summon cards, preferably none or Cloud.
Your Keyblades- 0s (Try not to make them very powerful keyblades, as these are ONLY to break Dark Aura and possibly Dark Firaga and regular attacks. I recommend Kingdom Keys here because they don't cost as much as others)
Cures - 0s (if not possible, VERY high values)

The major thing to worry about is Riku's all-powerful sleight, Dark Aura. NEVER try to dodge this on your own, because it will lead to your demise. ALWAYS break this at all costs. Dark Firaga can be dodged by well...a DODGE roll at the right time. If you can't do that, break it, but it is HIGHLY recommended to just dodge roll.

    Hope that helps. ^.^;
