Digital Art Ffxiii Avy

From the recent FFXIII scans, I give you a cool new avy. Made with the supposed heroine, Lightning.

Be sure to rate it, tell me why you love it, and also tell me if I spelled heroine, as in the drug, or as in a female hero...^_^;

And it's decent. Magazine scan? The splatter is pretty sloppy, doesn't work well at all, IMO. It's all way too contrasted. The brushing and the other stuff in the upper left don't go well at all here.

But it's pretty decent. Keep trying.

 

Haha! Nice... I give it a 9/10. I want it when its out... and a girl as main character will be sweet. I always have Ponelo or Ashe as my party leader in FF XII ^^

 

Eh, i posted it at about 9 this morning. Then deleted anr reposting in hopes that people would see the thread and post. Technically I'm allowed to bump right now...XD

Actually Darky, I've made a few other avies with the same scans, using the same technique, and they came out way better then this one. However I don't want to show them for a while...XD

 

That looks really good but what drags it down is the bad quality of the scan :P

Maybe get the FF13 trailer (not the VS one), take a screenshot with a video editing software then start editing.

 

I considered that, but thought it best to use a new pic. The screens fromt eh trailers are being majorly overused.

 

When its in your avvy it looks better cuz its smaller.
The light lighting is cool but it makes it look too much like you cut it out of a scan.
So 7.5/10.

And yeah, I always make my avys big so they shrink and look better when I put them in my avatar area.

 

Ahah, so no more saying my sigs are big when I first post them cuz I do the exact same thing ;)

 

You and I do it for different reasons. A 100x100 avy space doesn't leave a lot of room to do stuff. I make mine 150x150 so I have more room to make detail. You make yours overly big because you have problems with resizing your brushes.

 

I do it for the graphic quality too. Actually I think I do it way more for the graphic quality than anything else. And also its easier to fill up with loads of stuff and sometimes small renders.

 

Either way, I like my avy smaller...XD

I've made another one that I may post tomorrow or something. WAY better then this one.
