So apparently Arnie Roth, aka the conductor of Final Fantasy Distant Worlds, has confirmed that FFXII HD is being developed, making the announcement at a recent Distant Worlds concert in Pittsburgh: And it seems that FFXII composer Hitoshi Sakimoto also confirmed that an HD version of FFXII was being developed: Take this with a grain of salt, but I am hoping it's true. I borrowed FFXII once along with a memory card of a game that was already hours in. Gameplay was fun but, since I never started at the beginning, didn't like the story at all. And a lot of the character designs. Except Fran. But everyone loves Fran. After a while I got bored of it and moved on but it is something I've been waiting to be remastered because of how acclaimed it was. Just hoping they fix the requirements for the Zodiac Spear. Not being allowed to open certain chests is pretty bs if you don't know it your first playthrough. Square's definitely remaking this. Even if this turns out to be fake they'll do it sooner or later.
