What are the odds of me defeating Omega Weapon in one attack? I ask because thats exactly what I managed to do. I had Yuna summon Yojimbo, and he used a one hit KO attack after I paid him. Seriously, what are the odds that he would use his Zanmato attack? Also, will this Zanmoto attack be able to defeat the Dark Aeons at Besaid and Kilika? I missed the destruction spheres there and I really want to get Anima and the Magus Sisters.
There are minor factors involved (how you answered his questions when you recruited him, how much money you gave him when you summoned him before), but the amount of money you give him is the biggest factor. If you gave him over a million gils and didn' t screw up the minor factors the odds are 100%. If you did screw up the minor factors but gave him over a million gils the odds remain pretty impressive, not sure what the exact percentage is.
The odds vary based on a hidden relationship stat. You can get him to use that nearly all of the time, or piss him off enough to make it very difficult to get him to preform it. But IIRC the beginning odds are something like 1 in 4? (assuming you pay him about 1000)
Even without Yojimbo, it's incredibly easy to one-shot hit. Just summon the magus sisters, do a normal attack, and instant win. At least, that's how it worked for me. Those sisters were a little overpowered on the strength side
You did see that I hadn't gotten the Magus Sisters yet, right? In any case, I managed to defeat both of the Dark Aeons guarding the temples. :)
