What exactly do they do? Do they all have the same abilities or are the abilities adjusted to each character?

Also... in the Calm Lands, after I trained a Chocobo, where do I find it to ride it again later on?

    - Thanks!

LOL. Well, that topic probably says it all. But, if it doesn't, I'll give you some info.

The weapons are VERY powerful and specifically meant for a certain character.

Ah, also, they all may SEEM the same, but to acquire them it takes either some good skills or hard practice ;3

Like, Yuna would get 1 MP cost as an ability and Rikku would have Gillionare. Get what I mean?

Getting some requirements to get those weapons are a pain in the back though. Dodging about a decillion (exaggeratin :3) lightning bolts in 1 streak? That would take ages (at least for me)!
It would take the shine of things to go through hell just for a bunch of weps. Especially when it comes to a game that takes a lot of patience, like FFX.
But yes, I know. Leave the hardcore items to the hardcore gamers and the little weps for those who just don´t feel like doin in-depth missions.
Come to think of it, it´s actually quite cool that the game does has some nice rewards for those who want to push it to the limit.

Or, you know, you could just edit your own ultimate weapons :>

    Just saying xD

You could make them as awesome as you wanted and then you couldn't have to lose a good extra that you liked on one weapon (ex: Triple SP) and then your weapon could be the best xD :>

Maha! I have all of the ultimate weapons, crest, sigil and all! :D
And believe you me... if you are not insane (which I clearly am) it's probably not worth it.

    Fifteen hours of blitzball... *shudders*

But the easiest sigils to get are probably Yuna and Rikku's which is good since they are key for the Monster Arena. So if you just focus on one three-person team, make sure they're in it and you'll only have to kill yourself for one other person.

PS - I did the lightning thing in 25 bolt streaks... I'd pause it, get up, get a drink, use the washroom, then come back for more. Fun times... :p

You mean where you find that pothole, run to it, dodge lightning, go 5 steps back, and repeat. Correct?

And besides, I onl used Yuna, Tidus, and Rikku in the first place xD
They're awesome, can take down a tonberry in 1 round of all of them attacking >D
    But, I have to keep Tidus with a MUCH lower weapon on >>;
Double AP, how can I refuse that?

The only one that i struggled with was Lulu's. Dogdin' 200 lightnin' strikes was a pain in the toosh. I almost crack when i dodge over 150 n' i had to start again. The rest were fairly simple to obtain.

Um... I forget where I was exactly... but if you paise the game (I'm not sure if bringing up the menu works, I was scared to try) then they game gives you a little reprieve so that you can get up and do other things. The lightning will resume like normal when you unpause, but not while it is paused.

All I know is I did not move from the spot I picked the entire time I dodged them... I think I might have wedged Tidus behind one of the Cactuar stones so he didn't move too much. It's been so long now it's hard to remember, plus I think I may have subconciously blocked the pain of it it out of my memory. :p

But it works better if you turn off the lights in your house and stare at the bottom corner of the screen, instead of right at Tidus. You see the flashes better that way. Oh, and I had to do it alone... I tried with my sisters in the room at first at it was catastrophic. ;)
