I wrote this for an RP but it would of been too long for anyone to read. I decided to make a story of it instead. I wrote this myself, as you can tell i'm not much of a writer but I do tend to go on writing tangents. So anyway this is the first part of it, I may update if people get interested but anyway if you have any questions about the story, its idea or anything to do with it at all just ask. Chapter 1 The winters cold strikes against the face of the hooded shadow as he creeps through the night. His cargo hidden under a large bundle of bandage drags across the snow leaving a trail similar to a snails. The wind picks up, blowing at the cape and hood of the traveller. Quietly, the sound of creaking is carried in the wind and left ringing in his ears. A step at a time the stranger gradually reaches his goal, a shack battered by the storms on top of a hill. A shadow foretells the movements of man. Slowly opening the door the traveller slides inside throwing his cargo to the side as the floor opens up in front of him. Smoke flows from the cracks of the hatch as a pair of glowing red eyes peek through the shadowy depths of the basement. Signalling the safety of the hooded figure the unknown one steps forth from the stairs and shows himself. “Doctorâ€, the hooded one named the man in the hatch. “You’re early, come inâ€, the Doctor lead the stranger with a wave of his hand down the stairs and into a dark basement full of smoke and the smell of sulphur. The hooded man took down his hood and followed the doctor to his desk where they sat on either side. “Did you bring it?â€, The Doctor asked sounding concerned. “It’s upstairsâ€, The stranger added with little feeling, his hair was brown, his eyes where a much darker red than the Doctor’s and his skin was paler than snow. The doctor sighed with relief as he lent backwards on his chair and reached into his pocket for a cigarette. He put the cigarette in his mouth and searched for his lighter but to no avail. Before he could open his mouth the doctors cigarette was lit, as the others red eyes was focused on the flame. “Thanksâ€, The doctor said, “What am I going to doâ€, he sighed. “He said to extract it from the ‘cargo’ â€, the none smoker stated. “Of course, I just don’t understand why we need that oneâ€, The doctor replied standing up and leading the other man back up stairs to collect the ‘cargo’ and take it too the lab. **** Shouting could be heard as the young boy ran through the streets laughing and panting as he was followed by a handful of guards. Astoundingly, the boy jumped from wall to wall between two buildings reaching the roof. Ditching the guards the boy carried on running, leaping across roofs he soon found his way to his hideout. The boy stopped, his golden hair shined in the sunlight as it bounced from his head and made his blue trousers and waist coat standout more than they already did on his white shirt. “Job well doneâ€, he smirked before bursting into laughter and heading on in through the door. Hope taken from the most unlikely of people.
