Out of the 18 different types of pokemon which one do you consider to be your favorite? Whenever you play a pokemon game you just about always have to add them to your team. And whenever you are in a tight battle they just about always come through for you.
Steel. Its always been my favorite. Metagross, Scizor, Jirachi, Ferrothorn, the list goes on and on and on. Love em all.
Dragon, easy. One of the best defensive types, with only 2 weaknesses (as of X/Y) and few offensive resistances. Garchomp is my soul animal, and many of the Dragon-Pokemon designs are my favorites of the series. Also, the fully evolved Dragons typically great stats and movepools.
I think if I were forced at gunpoint to pick one I'd have to say Fire, with Fairy, Ghost and Dragon tied for second by a hair, and Bug at a slightly more distant third. Idk, I love 'em all :'D But I tend towards those five in most ways, both mechanically and thematically.
Water. Poliwrath, Gyarados, Kingler, Starmie, Kingdra are some of my all time favourites. I always try and include at least one of them in my team.
I really like Ice, the type itself, but don't really like a lot of Ice Pokémon. Steel is a close second that actually has a lot Pokémon I like/use if that doesn't count.
...I don't know how I forgot to mention Water. brb, drowning myself in shame This is usually how my team building goes: Water/starter Fire/starter Grass/starter cool and useful mon cool and useful mon cool and useful mon With all these, I make sure not to have more than one Pokémon of the same type, and after that, I try not to have more than two Pokémon that share one weakness. (For example, if I have Venusaur and Lucario on my team, I won't add any Bug or Ice types, since I have two Pokémon already weak to Fire.)
Ghost all the way. Maybe some half Ghost too since there aren't a lot.. Bannette, Gengar, Chandelure, and Spiritomb are my favorite. Cause they're all just too freakin' awesome!
Water. I dunno' why, I just really like 'em. Plus, they're a staple type to have at least one of in any good team, and are strong against a pretty damn good amount of types without having many weaknesses, as well.
I've always liked Psychic pokes, myself. I love all of the colourful, shiny beam attacks. P: My favourites are; Espeon, Reuniclus, Espurr and the half-psychic Gallade.
