Post your favorite movie and why it is that.

Mine's Forrest Gump because in the movie he did so many things that were great war hero, ping pong champion, and he found out about Watergate. He experienced a ton of stuff that most people wouldn't for example war. The movie had a great moral. Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're gonna get.

I don't know about my favorite movie...but my favorite comedy is Kung Pow. "From now on you shall refer to me by the name...Betty." "My nipples look like milk duds." "I've got some yellow liquid for your popcorn and it's nondairy." "Master Tang. What are you doing here?" "I've come to kick @$$." "Watch out for his song about big butts. He beats you up while he plays it!" "Let your anger be as a monkey in a pinata hoping the kids don't break through!" Those are just some of my favorite lines...the movie is a classic...and there will be a sequel this year..."There will be a chosen one."

Hmm...I have three favorites, but my number one is The Notebook. Why? Because it's just so romantic and sad at the same time. I love like tragic romantic stories so it was a perfect for me. My second favorite would be The partriot. It was so sad and powerful. And I like movies around that time of the britsh and slavery era. My last one would be Walk To Remember. It has one of my favorite actors in it, Mandy Moore and my some of my favorite songs too. It is romantic and sad.

    I didn't really like Forest Gump. :l
Ooh, that was a really good movie.

I have a lot of favorite movies, so I'm kind of torn. I could be clichéd and say The Breafast Club. Or, I could let my current addiction to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind get in the way of my reasoning. Or, stick to my usual answer of The Matrix.

I'd say it's a tie between Eternal Sunshine and The Matrix.

Without a doubt, The Royal Tenenbaums.

For one, the movie is just hilarious. It's funny in pretty much exactly all the right moments. Each actor/actress does a wonderful job of portraying the personalities and idiosyncrasys(don't think i spelled that right) of each character. It does get a bit serious towards the end of the movie, but it's pulled off wonderfully. I think the first time i rented it/got it from the library i watched it upwards of 10 times.

That's one of my favourites too, I first watched it in a english lesson. One of the few films I don't despise after having to watch to death for essays, in fact I got the DVD for Christmas that year.

Though... any of the LotR trilogy is up there and most of the Monty Python films, though I have to say "Meaning of Life" isn't their best work.

But my favourite film is Good Morning Vietnam and my favourite musical film is West Side Story, and most likly always will be. Unless Wicked is made into a film.

West Side Story isn't that the modern version of Romeo and Juliet?

I remember that because I watched it in a music class.

My favorite movie of all time, would probably be the Full Metal Alchemist movie. Great action, lots of alchemy, plus it's not just the use of alchemy, but it helps give a better understanding of how the Amestrian alchemy actually works. :X

It's almost a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's quite different when you look at it, but it's the same gang-land warfare and star cross'd lovers scenario.

That's something else I should of added come to think of it "Baz Lurman's Romeo + Juilet"
It has Leonardo Dicaprio in it :3
