I'm not teh smartest but Iwas watching the news the other day and I saw americans who were held hostage after their plane crashed by the FARC and they talked for awhile and apparently the FARC thinks of themselves as the saviors of their country but really there terrorists but I'm confuzles on who,what and when. How & when did they ever get power and orginize themsleves as the FARC and what exactly is the FARC?
FARC stands for the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia i don't know when they got power but the group was established in 1964 as a military wing of the Colombian Communist Party ...so i think that they got power cause there military i think
