Rated PG-13 for: Blood, Slight Language and Romance. There's not a lot of blood, or cursing...but it's there. And no intense romance scenes, just...well, you'll see Truthfully, I don't know if this belongs in the Main Thread or the Original Story Thread cause, it's based off Kingdom Hearts, but it's all OC's and nothing else. But it's worth a try. It takes place One Thousand Years after Kingdom Hearts 2. So does this belong here or in the Original Story thread? Anyway, onto the story~ --------------------------------------------------- Organization XV Prelude It's such a shame, The Organization used to be the rope that bounds us together. And now it's full of kinks. - Zexion I came to the organization nearly a year ago. My leader, Keyonzu, bought me in. Along the way I met Zacalex and...I was the one that bought him into the organization. Sometimes...I wonder if that was a smart idea. Either way...I didn't have a choice. It was an order by Keyonzu-sama. Now, we're known as Organization XV. Keyonzu said that Zacalex was the last person to join. Zacalex became my team mate...I didn't understand it at all. I should probably mention what makes the Organization an...Organization and all. It all started years ago...almost a thousand to be exact. There was an Organization under the name XIII. They were all nobodies of those who had strong hearts but turned into heartless. They were...eliminated by the Keyblade Master, Sora, with the help of his friends. The world where they stayed, The World That Never Was...remained empty, with the exception of the heartless and nobodies. So, I bet you're wondering...if they were destroyed, then who are we and why are there two more members than the originals? Well...you see, we can't really explain it either. Keyonzu tells us that we are merely...clones of the original organization; an experiment of Vexen. Some of the clones just...turned out to be the wrong gender. Not only that, but we look completely different than our originals. As each member was eliminated, their clone would wake up and begin to stray away. Keyonzu was created from Larxene. Number XII, The Savage Nymph of the old Organization and the weilder of lightening...the old leader was Xemnas, Number I, The Superior Of The In-Between and weilded...well...nothingness. He controlled all the member's weapons and elements, or so it seemed. It makes me wonder, why is Keyonzu-sama the leader and not Zalmai...he's the clone of Xemnas and has the same element. But...I guess it was because Zalmai didn't even want to create another organization. It was probably too much of a hassle, but I'll never understand. So...which clone am I? I am...cloned from Number XI, Marluxia, The Graceful Assassin and the weilder of Nature. In my past life, I was the leader in Castle Oblivion before I was destroyed by Sora. Now, I'm just a lackey in the new Organization. I merely go out on missions given to me by Keyonzu, nothing more...nothing less. I've been teamed up with the one that I recruited, which was Zacalex. He's the 'Reincarnation' of Axel, number VIII, The Flurry Of Dancing Flames. We're complete opposites, but...with my condition, Keyonzu figured that I would need a team mate...I just wish it wasn't him. I sorta wish it was Mulinex, but all he does is stay by keyonzu side and kisses his ass all day. Oh, if you were wondering, Mulinex is Saix's copy. Saix was number VII, The Lunar Diviner and Practically Xemnas' right-hand man. So, I guess that Muliniex being his copy and with Keyonzu being the leader, he simply wanted to...obey his master. Oh! I also bet that you're wondering what my name is. I've been introducing some of the others that I forgot about myself. Well...You know my original self was Marluxia. You know his attribute was nature and that he was number XI. Well, I'm...different. My Attribute is still nature, and my name is somewhat relatable to his. My name is Luxie and i am number XIV. My placement in the organization isn't what makes me different from my past life...I'm also partially blind. Meaning, I can make out forms...but not features. So, I barely know what anyone else or what myself even looks like. That's why Keyonzu thinks I need a guide, but I was doing fine on my own. I was able to find Zacalex wasn't I?...But even though we're complete opposites, Zacalex and I get along just fine. He was even kind enough to start helping me on missions. He said that it's not because he has to but, because he wants to. He even got me a blindfold for my eyes. Sure, wearing it makes me completly blind now, but it also heightened my senses and made my fighting a lot better. I should probably thank him later, but for now, I have to go to Where Nothing Gathers. What's that? Well...it's where everyone in the Organization meets. Usually, Keyonzu only calls us there when something important or urgent has happened. Right now, we're dealing with a crisis. There are...new Keyblade Masters out there and they're diminishing our numbers, one by one. I wonder...how many of us will be at the meeting. I wouldn't be surprised if it was just me, Zacalex, and Mulinex. We're the only ones that Keyonzu cares about. Well, anyway, I have to leave now. I'll let you know what happens at the meeting. Sayonara~ (The Prelude is the only chapter that will be from first person view)
Chapter 1 'Those who forget our true goal...will be eliminated.' -Saix "Come on, Luxie. If we don't hurry, Keyonzu is going to have our heads!" came a male voice who was also panting quietly; out of breath from running down the halls of The Castle That Never Was. Following behind him at a safe distance was a female teen with lilac purple hair, running slightly slower than him, but just enough to keep up. "I'm trying. Please slow down, you know I can't keep up with you when I have to hear where you're going" she called out to the male. He sighed quietly as he slowed down just a bit as the other came closer. Once they were mere inches apart, he took her wrist and began running again, practically dragging the girl with him. "Zacalex, you're running way too fast" the girl told him. The male, Zacalex, glanced back at her, and although he couldn't see her eyes behind the blindfold she was wearing, he could tell she was glaring at him. He sighed once more at this, but continued to run "I know, but I just don't want to hear a lecture from Keyonzu again" he replied, saying the last word with emphasize. The lilac haired teen huffed in response as she continued to let Zacalex drag her. "I promise after this, you and I can get some sea-salt ice cream, okay, Luxie?" he told her. Luxie's face seemed to have brightened up after hearing that as she nodded her head happily, making Zacalex smile a little inreturn. He knew that would cheer her up, it atways did. As the two hurried around a corner, they came face to face with a pair of double doors. Zacalex slowed down which made Luxie slow in response before they both came to a stop, panting quietly from the excercise they've just gotten. "We're here?""Yeah" came Zacalex's reply and a few more pants. Luxie giggled quietly after a moment, catching his attention "What is it?""I wish I could've seen your face on the way here. I bet it was priceless, right?" she questioned. Zacalex laughed nervously as he moved a strand of his red hair that was starting to stick to his forehead from the sweat "Yeah, I guess you can say that" he replied while taking the lilac haired female's hand again "Come on, let's go inside. In any case, the meeting is probably nothing again" he told her. Luxie shook her head in response "That's not true. Keyonzu only calls us to meetings with something important has happened. You have to remember, Zacalex, we're dealing with a crisis. With the new keyblade masters running around, there's no time for things like recon missions...or people like traitors...I wouldn't be surprised if it was just me, you and Mulinex at this meeting." she explained. That seemed to really catch Zacalex's attention as he glanced back at her with a look of mixed confusion and surprise "Why would you say that?""Well, it seems we are the only ones Keyonzu can trust. We're like his loyal servants. The others just wanted to over-throw him because he was the idiot who decided to recreate the organization when they just wanted to live carefree lives" she answered. The red head let her words sink into his mind and had to agree with her. The others in the organization; they didn't want any part of it, but Keyonzu made them join, they didn't have a choice. Not only that, but once the keyblade masters started to cause havoc, their leader practically sent everyone out except numbers II, XIV, and XV...in short terms, him, Mulinex and Luxie. Zacalex mentally sighed at this "I doubt that Keyonzu would do that to the organization. Just leaving us three...doesn't seem like something he would do" but Luxie shook her head once more "You don't know Keyonzu like Mulinex and I do. You've only been here for a mere two months...you still have a long way to go." she replied, her tone starting to get very quiet. This worried Zacalex extremly as he turned his gaze to look at the double doors. The red head gulped as he placed his hand on the knob and turned it. Instead of going inside just yet, he took his chances and opened the door slightly, peeking inside and...it was hard to believe, but...what Luxie said was true. Standing in the room...was just Mulinex. Keyonzu hadn't arrived just yet. What if the three of them were the only ones left in the organization? What then? Or...has Keyonzu lost his mind? "He didn't lose his mind-" Luxie suddenly began, causing the red head to jump "-He got rid of the traitors" she finished. He sighed to himself while trying to calm his heart after that tiny scare. Sometimes he would wonder if Luxie had mind reading abilities. She tends to read his mind a lot, or was he just that easy to read...even to a blind person? "Let's just go inside before Keyonzu arrives. He likes to use the Corridors of Darkness to get here" she told him, her wrist slipping away from Zacalex's grasp as Luxie opened the door all the way. The fire wielder sighed quietly as he followed behind her, making their way into the meeting room. Mulinex looked up from the ground, glancing over at Zacalex and Luxie, smirking darkly behind his mask. "Well, well, look who finally decided to show up. Didn't think you two would even be here" he spoke, his voice dark and cold. Zacalex shrugged in response "I was thinking the same thing. What with you kissing the leaders ass all day" he replied, making Luxie laugh a little and earning a harsh glare from Mulinex "Oh? It seems I finally struck a nerve" the fire wielder continued before going off to take his seat next to Luxie. Zacalex stopped in his tracks and quickly moved out the way as a very large sword barely passed his head and embedded deep into the wall, causing multiple cracks in it. This made the red head smirk, glancing back to see Mulinex, who glaring harshly at him while the weapon vanished from sight and returned to its owners hand. Luxie didn't say a word and merely lowered her head, not wanting any part of the 'tragedy' that was about to happen and obediently stayed in her seat. Zacalex sighed quietly "What? I make one little joke and get your two-handed blade thrown at me? Now, that doesn't seem fair, does it?" he spoke"Zacalex" the red head glanced back, seeing Luxie looking straight at him. Literally, looking at him with her icy white eyes. Zacalex knew that Luxie was serious once she had taken the blindfold off her eyes. It was also a sign that Keyonzu was near. Luxie was never allowed to blind herself with their leader around. He found it to be...disrespectful. The fire wielder sighed once more as he turned his back to Mulinex and the other let his weapon disappear from his grasp and they went their separate ways. Zacalex taking his seat next to Luxie and Mulinex took his seat by Keyonzu, who had just arrived using his Corridor to Darkness. Their blonde haired leader glanced around the room, smirking when he saw the only ones he could trust in the room. Not only that, but he took note of the damage that was done to the Castle's walls. Seeing this made him cross his arms and his smirk darken slightly "It would seem someone loss control of their temper again" he said in his usual cool and calm voice. Zacalex glanced away while Luxie looked down and Mulinex glared at nothing in particular. "In any case-" Keyonzu continued when no one decided to take the blame. Even so, he already knew who had done the damage "-You three should save up your energy. We have some new recruits coming" he told them. Numbers II, XIV and XV looked at Number I with surprise marking their faces. Luxie was the first to say something "What do you mean new recruits?" she asked, quietly. Keyonzu gave the Blinded Star a kind smile "I mean we need more members to fill in the spaces that we lost.""Is that what this meeting is about? I thought you had news on the whereabouts of the Keyblade wielders, but instead you call us here just to go and fetch some new nobodies to fill in the numbers of the members that we lost cause of your foolishness?!" Zacalex suddenly exclaimed in a harsh tone. His words caused their blonde haired leader to glare harshly at him, still, the fire wielder didn't back down. It wasn't until sparks of electricity start to show around Keyonzu that Zacalex shut his mouth, unwillingly. Keyonzu smirked at this. Zacalex was still new to the Organization, and therefore, didn't know the powers that his new leader held. The Dark Shinobi turned his attention towards Number XIV. She had her gaze inverted downwards, and remained silent. She didn't even scold Zacalex on his actions. He might have to lecture her about that later. She was the one that found him, so it was her responsibility that he wouldn't get himself killed. "Luxie""Y-Yes, Keyonzu?" came Luxie's voice, suddenly shy and timid. The lightening controller couldn't help but smile at this. Luxie...she's been in the organization longer than the rest of them. In fact, she was the first one to be found within the highest floor of Castle Oblivion, and yet was given the number XIV because she still has little control over her abilities of Nature. She deserved to be XV, but Zacalex took that role when he showed that he was very disobedient and only wanted to play with his powers. Luxie was the shy, quiet one and was scared of Keyonzu. The leader would often use her fear of him to over-power her. And since she was never the type to fight someone who was stronger than her, or take and reckless chances, Keyonzu found that ruling over Luxie...was very simple to do. "-You are to head to Radiant Garden. Zacalex, you have Destiny Islands. That doesn't mean treat this mission like it's a vacation" their leader instructed. The two nodded in response, before Zacalex turned his gaze towards Mulinex "And what about him? What's he going to do? Sit here and be your loyal dog all day?" Number XV said harshly, earning a just as harsh glare from Wind wielder. Keyonzu merely ignored his statement, but answered the previous question "Mulinex will be heading out back to Castle Oblivion. It would seem that Luxie was not the only one created there" he answered; his curiousity could be clearly heard in his voice. "Do not fail me. We need more members to join, if we want these Chosen Wielders of Light to perish." Keyonzu continued in a harsh tone. Numbers II, XIV and XV remained silent, but nodded in acknowledgement "You three are dismissed" and with that said, all four vanished one by one through their Corridors to Darkness. The remaining Organization Members began their mission.
Chapter 2 'You know, this town had another name once. Radiant Garden' - Aerith Closing the corridor to darkness behind her, Luxie took a glance around. Her vision was blurry, but she could vaughly make out a huge computer to her left and what seemed to be a transporter or something of the sorts to her right. "Is this...Radiant Garden?" she questioned quietly to herself. She huffed quietly at this "The portal must've taken me closer to my target's location. Good. The closer I am, the sooner I can get this over with" Luxie sighed as she turned to face a closed door behind her "Let's see if I can sense your darkness" she spoke to herself quietly while making her way towards the door in front of her. Upon opening it, she was led to an incline that went lower into the place she was in. Number XIV sighed in aggitation as she started to make her way down. She was barely able to make out what seemed like...laser beams coming from the ceiling. They were directed down towards a platform, where she took note of another being. 'I think I know where I am now. I remember Keyonzu saying that Radiant Garden had a lab where heartless were created....this must be it' she thought. Walking onto the platform, she was able to make out a small frame of a person standing in the center...just...gazing. 'This must be the person I'm after...I remember how Zacalex acted when I found him' she mused as she walked ahead. She could barely make out the person features. But it was obvious that the other was female. She had short hair that stopped at the nape of her neck, but she couldn't make out the color. The girl seemed no older than maybe fifthteen and was a little short for her supposed age. Luxie stood in front of the other, who continued to gaze at the floor. XIV couldn't help but smile a little. This had to be the easiest recruit mission ever. She sort of hoped that Zacalex's mission would be the same. However, she hoped the worrst would happen when it came to Mulinex. "Can you tell me your true name?" Luxie asked the stranger. She slowly shook her head in response and kept her gaze on the floor below. Luxie wasn't surprised. Zacalex was the same way when she found him. It was then that she wondered if she was the same way. Everything about the time she first started in the organization was a huge blur. It was scary to not remember what happened when she first arrived, but Luxie wasn't about to question Keyonzu about her memory issues. The organization had more important matters at hand for now. And one of these matters was getting the new recruits to join. It wasn't as if they had a choice. "You...wish for a purpose, right?" the other nodded her head in a slow response. Luxie gave her a kind smile as she held out her hand "Then come with me. I know someone who will help you find a purpose" she said in a tone that matched the smile. The girl hesitated for a moment and just gazed at Luxie's hand before deciding to take it. When XIV felt the other take her hand, she glanced away and used her free hand to open a Corridor to Darkness. "Don't worry. The Darkness is your friend. Remember that" she said. The other nodded her head once more as Luxie began to take the girl into the portal and it closed behind her. She really wanted to hurry and get the other to Keyonzu. She was curious as to what her true name was and what her nobody name was soon to be. As they walked through the void of darkness, the girl remained quiet, but her grip on Luxie's hand was tight. XIV wondered if the girl wasn't so fond with the darkness as the rest of them were when they first started out. Darkness was like a second element to nearly every nobody. If this girl was scared of the darkness, then maybe her sombody had a terrible encounter with the dangerous element. Still, it was nothing Keyonzu couldn't fix. As the two entered the castle once more, surrounded by familiar white walls of the meeting room, the portal closed behind them and Luxie presented the girl to Keyonzu. The lightning weilder smirked as she looked up at her leader "I see your mission was a success. Not only that, but you completed it a lot faster than I thought you could. You never cease to surprise me, number XIV" Keyonzu commented. Luxie nodded in response as her way of saying 'thank you' while Keyonzu approached the new recruit. Raising his hand out in front of him, he swiped the space between him and the other as the name 'Naoi' appeared in front of the girl in translucent letters. Luxie moved aside, wanting to see how the naming process worked. As the letters began to circle faster and faster around the girl, Keyonzu moved his hand once more as the letter 'Z' appeared between the four letters. The girl looked at her new name with a blank expression before finally speaking "...Azion..." Keyonzu smirked at this and nodded once "That's right. That is the new you" he replied. Luxie wondered as she glanced away...if that was the same way she recieved her name. If so, then what was her somebodies name? "Luxie" "Yes?" XIV turned her attention back to her leader. Her mission was done. What else did Keyonzu need of her "You will watch over Azion until she is used to her new surroundings. It will be like taking care of Zacalex all over again" he ordered. Luxie mentally sighed and nodded in response "I understand. What willl be...Azion's new number?" she asked. Keyonzu turned his attention back to the other girl as he smirked slightly "XIII...she has the element of light" he answered. It all clicked in Luxie's mind then. It was no wonder the girl was afraid of the darkness. She had the same light element as Roxas and the kid after him. Deciding it was best to think about that later, Luxie went over to Azion "Come, Azion. I will lead you to your new room" she said, getting the other's attention. The younger girl nodded in response as she followed after Luxie out of the meeting room. If this was anything like taking care of Zacalex when she first found him, then Azion would be a zombie for the first few weeks, nearly a month, the whole time she was here. Luckily there weren't that many of them around for her to get to know. XIV thought about how Zacalex's mission was going. She hoped that when the other returned that he would be in a better mood then when he left.
