Facing Backwards

This is written in acoustic form.
(...) = guitarist voice
CAPS= both guitarist and main vocalist

This is a song about living life to the fullest and not letting others tell you what you're supposed to be. I've been working on it for a while and I've finally fine tuned it (no pun intended ^^) the way that I want it to be. Without further ado, here's:
Facing Backwards by Angelina G.A.

I like these lyrics, there is something here that is striking me familiar, but i'm not sure what it is, it could just be me. Will you be uploading a possible clip of this at all?

I strongly suggest continuing to write because you seem to have a strong knowledge of lyrical writing, having said this, i would critique tempo or lines because i've not heard this so i don't know how it flows.

I've always wanted to put up some sort of audio of my songs, but I don't have any recording devices. =( My video camera was broken last year and I haven't gotten a new one yet. Christmas is coming around... I might get lucky! :D
It's mostly a slow song. Kind of like Everything by Lifehouse. My sister can play the guitar so I'm going to try to work on it a bit with her if she has some free time from school and work. As soon as I'm able to, I'll put up some audio.

 

It has a strong slow song feel, and I think that it would be perfect in that style.

Great news! It's taken this long, but I've finally gotten recording equiptment! I'll be putting up some audio files today hopefully.

 

If you're going to post audio clips of your singing, it'd belong in the Audio Projects subforum :3

Also, this should be in the thread you made "Garxena's works". It would be a shame to merge the two threads (which I probably should) but for future reference can you put your work for this subforum in your main thread?

 

Don't worry, all of my future stuff will go in that thread (I'm also thinking of putting the stuff that I've already posted [like this] into that thread too). That's why I made it. This thread was made nearly two years ago.
