I know this is kind of my "stick," but this time I really don't get it. o.O

good. the character is clearly inappropriate for children. look at me, i was a huge fan as a kid and i turned into a complete psychopath.

 

From what I' ve read it was about choosing a figure head for a kids playground. The city council rejected Pooh' s candidacy on the grounds you already mentioned, arguing their own local bear character was entirely dressed. While they could be spewing bullshit just to favor a local character, Poland is one of the nine European countries who, to this day, don' t recognize any sort of civil union for same sex couples.

 

Well, I suppose there are worse bear mascots to have on a playground.

 

Where the heck is this guy on the nominations?

 

I suspect very low. Considering Freddy is even more inappropriately dressed than Pooh. At least Pooh's wearing a shirt.

 

But you forget what Freddy is actually wearing:

a bear costume.

 

I know that and you know that. Speaking from the standpoint of someone thinking it's a bear and not a bear suit on top of an endoskeleton of very sharp moving bits that would crush a human skeleton.
