Excellent use of color, typography is amazing.
Its like my eyes are burning from greatness.
I don't like how that newspaper text is blurred but
if it wasn't it would take away from everything else.
I love this style so much. However the pattern on the
'J' is a bit iffy =/ especially at the curve of it.
All in all hot stuff.

 

I have to agree with Twilight_Falls, the blurred Newspaper actually kind of ruins it for me. I could understand if you had something over the Newspaper but it really just seems like a huge blurry blob. Personally, I'd either remove it or add something in the foreground. to draw attention away from it/make depth.

 

Meh. I was trying to make the focal of 'josh' stronger.
But that's completely understandable.

I'll just **** around with it until; I find another texture that fits with the concept and just have that over it.

I agree; I'd actually say that you should take the blur off of the newspaper all together. The top is so hectic and colorful that I doubt that the eye would be drawn to the newspaper. I love the color and the texture in here. The fact that you can have all of that text in there and still manage to keep the focus on the 'josh' text shows some nice skill. The only improvements I'd like to see are those white lines over the josh text -- they need to be softened up, the newspaper at the bottom needs unblurring, and the heart could do with a bit of sharpening.

I love how it's so bright and colourful. But I go agree with Cin and Twilight. I think the blurry newspaper needs something more, or something because it's just a bit off with everything else you have on top of it. D:

It was late last night, so I kinda tuned out the fact that the blur looked so ****** compared to everything else.

 

It's perfect now. I love the rubix cube; it's much more fitting than the newspaper. Excellent work. ;D

chyea. it was actually there the entire time, it was just blended in because of the reflected light from the newspaper, or just from the blending hues caused to be sorta invisible.

Josh's a left hemisphere boy.
So I figured that incorporating an enormous rubix cube was only fitting.
