Honestly, as bad as IE is, I don't really care if they preinstall it on computers... what else are you going to use to download a new browser? I can't see them having a little "click which browser you want" screen when you're installing Windows, nor do I believe Apple has gotten in trouble for preinstalling Safari. Everyone has their software and, as Microsoft built the OS, I'm not mad about them auto-installing a browser. It'd be pretty stupid if they didn't. You may as well tell Microsoft that they can't preinstall Paint, Skype, Windows Media Player, etc. People have the option to use other software--and they often do (IE is no longer the dominant browser)--so I don't really give a hoot about what's preinstalled as long as I can install what I want.
