Well, color me surprised. This is a very different game than what I would expect Disney to endorse. But all the better I suppose. This is really out there, so this is on my radar now.

I have to agree with Arch tho, I really wish i knew what the plot was.

 

We'd all like to know the plot. But what's the point of runing a surprise?

Judging from some of the concept art in the galleries here, a revamped version of the Phantom Blot is the villain, making all those horrific robotic monsters and chimeras to menace the worlds of Disney, which you as Mickey have to stop.

 

Deus Ex is Latin. It's usually used in the term 'Deux Ex Machina,' "God out of a Machine," used to describe situations that a character in a work of fiction should not be able to survive but gets saved from at the last minute. Of course, the Deus Ex mentioned above is a videogame =P.

And this is interesting. o__o I'll have to keep an eye on it.

If this turns out dark like people are saying it is and Disney lets it through, it could mean a deeper/darker plotline for Kingdom Hearts.

 

Not necesarrily. Kingdom Hearts is it's own game series. Just because there's one dark Disney game doesn't mean KH will be dark as well. It's up to Enix and Nomura if they want it that way, it's their choice. They don't have to conform because others are doing it.

 

Right. These games aren't dependent on each other.

Would be interesting to see Epic Mickey in Kingdom Hearts though... If it ends up being as good as it looks.

No. Mickey is one and only, if this happens then there goes Mickey Mouse universe.
Mickey is a classic, if they make a game like this then it loses all its value that it had as that comic book character.
As a game I have no doubt that it will be good. But a video game for a classic world-wide famous character? I don't think that deal is worth it.

 

What would make you say all that?
Just like Mickey Mouse fighting along side Squall, it's only an adaptation of a classic character in a new situation.
It'll be a good game, and Mickey Mouse will be the same character he's always been.

 

Huh, I just PMed Mike about this, saying that KHinsider thinks it could be KH related. Anyway, it sounds cool, and here's hoping KHI is right. :D

 

I'm not sure what to think about this. I don't know if it worth even posting on the main page, because nothing has been really said, plus I'm very confused. If it's an issue and you guys really want me to include it in the main website, please do let me know.
